The third person in the photo is Robert Muldoon, then Prime Minister of NZ. It is said that politics maketh strange bedfellows, and that photo underscores it. RM was a fierce opponent of communism, 'reds under the bed' etc.
Because you knew Mao Tse-tung personally, I will ask you. Do you think it is right to change the English spelling of his name after his death, just because our system has changed? I do not think that is right. IF he were still alive and HE had adopted it and/or accepted it, that would be one thing. I was never a fan of his but out of basic respect, I feel it is wrong to change a person's name post mortem. What do you think? (BTW, when spelled Zedong, the pronunciation also changes. It actually seems like bad AI subtitling.)
With some of these really sudden deaths like James Dean or the Challenger crew, you wish you could jump into the photo and physically stop them from proceeding any further.

@@plauditecives -1924, Lenin's health suddenly deteriorated sharply. On January 21, 1924, at 18:50, at the age of 54, he died. The official conclusion on the cause of death in the autopsy report read: " The basis of the disease of the deceased is widespread atherosclerosis of the vessels due to premature wear (German: Abnutzungssclerose). As a result of narrowing of the lumen of the arteries of the brain and impaired nutrition from insufficient blood flow, focal softening of brain tissues occurred, explaining all the previous symptoms of the disease (paralysis, speech disorders). The immediate cause of death was: 1) increased circulatory disorders in the brain; 2) hemorrhage into the soft meninges in the quadrilateral region"[189]. In June 2004, an article was published in the European Journal of Neurology, the authors of which suggest that Lenin died of neurosyphilis[190][191][192]. A similar conclusion was made in V. M. Novoselov's book "The Death of Lenin. Medical detective"[193] (2020), the opinion is based on the diary entries of attending physicians, published for the first time in such volume. Lenin himself did not rule out the possibility of syphilis and therefore took salvarsan, and in 1923 he still tried to be treated with drugs based on mercury and bismuth; Max Nonne, a specialist in this field, was invited to him. However, he subsequently wrote: "absolutely nothing indicated syphilis"[194].
The picture of Robin Williams is not the last photo taken of him. Some people saw him sitting in a restaurant, and snapped a photo of him. In it, he looks more sad than you would even know
@08:40 you can see one of the shooters ready to fire... just next to the tree in the middle of the photo. it is the moment that the umbrella opened making Jacky turn left. The umbrella of course was the go ahead signal for the shooters
The Lincoln photo might be more accurately captioned as "last photo of Lincoln alive" as two other photos of him laying in state with the coffin lid open exist. I can't verify their authenticity however at least one of the (reportedly) two identical photos have been shown in documentary video products.
I do question the authenticity of the Titanic photo, especially with a lifeboat in it and taken during daylight hours. There were only a few pictures taken of Titanic, but many more of her sister ship Olympic.
I remember when Elvis died. It was just a few weeks before I started high school. My big sister was a big fan of his; me, not so much. Sis drove a baby blue Volkswagen Beetle at the time. She parked in front of the house and walked despondently through the front yard to the door. I'll never forget the look on her face. Bob Marley died of skin cancer. If he were still alive, he would probably say; "Don't worry, be happy, and wear SPF everyday."
Poor poor Patrick . You’ll always be Dalton brother , always .! Then you see Bowie and see his vibrant smile . In my view the genius of music and Britain’s finest musical export . I’ve always rated him way above the Beatles in scope of influence and quality of music and lyrics . I’m biased I know . Met the man many years go and he was better than the myths . Truly nice bloke and smoked like a chimney . 🤷♂️🇬🇧
Sorry, Dude. You are absolutely wrong about the photo of Ulysses S. Grant. The photo you show was taken in June 1885. There is a famous photo of him taken of him on July 22nd, 1885, four days before he died. It is a front facing photo, where he is looking at a newspaper on the porch. He is wearing a top hat (like Abraham Lincoln wore.) If you are wrong about the Grant photo, I wonder how many more you've gotten wrong.
On the last photo of James Dean, on the upper left corner, we can read on the building: "Rosalie La More". In french, "La Mort" (which sounds exactly like "La More") means "Death". Spooky.
Funny you don’t show that most of these famous people were in the one-eyed photo’s group. That is how they got famous…selling their souls to the devil for fame and fortune. They just have to show you! Don’t be deceived, when you know, you know.
I offered my soul to the devil for fame and fortune as well. He offered me 38 bucks and a couple of 2 for 1 coupons from Burger King. What a rip off artist!

Abe had a really cool face.
I thought the picture of John Lennon signing an album for Mark David Chapman hours before he shot him would have been included.
Yeah, maybe the most famous one of them all, just because of his circumstances.
You are right, that famous picture of Lennon and Yoko in the bed, taken by Anne Leibowitz, taken that very morning of the murder

About Tsar Nicholas - there's a photo of him with his family which was the last one.
