+rlyehdate No. The correct reaction is indeed "yay they are back!" and not your very niche idea of that a band should stop having their own sound to be good. There are plenty of other bands to listen to if you want something else. This is the best sounding album BFMV has done for sure. It has more constant speed and not as emo as some of their previous stuff. It's therefore not quite the same as before and if you can't tell the difference I guess you're not a fan. Go listen to something else then.

" This particular track was very much a therapy session for myself writing it. I really wanted to recapture the anger, frustration and feeling of hopelessness I had as a teenager and a young man. Having a dream of being a musician and touring the world playing the guitar was the only passion and dream I had in my life, and I was constantly told it would never happen and to do something else and stop chasing some stupid dream. The feeling of not being able to do what I wanted to do with my life, no matter how untouchable for most, it seemed was the worst feeling in the world. I would often struggle with the fact that if I couldn't do what I wanted (or at least try to achieve it) then what was the point in even being alive. After nearly 2 years with Venom now, I can say that this is the best song on the album. It's hard when there's songs like The Harder The Heart, Playing God, Hell or High Water, etc. but I think musically this one has the most depth, and feels the most like the old songs :]
For me it's a debate between No Way Out and Raising Hell because the Chorus of Raising Hell is Perfection but Overall. Yes No Way Out has everything story, great noise, and just all one good song needs

Wow...these lyrics is what exactly I went through when I had depersonalization and derealization disorder last year. Thought it was forever and it was day by day in hell in my own mind. The horror that this disorder can become. Glad I was stronger than my weak will mind and didn't kill myself as I was able to break free from it earlier this year.

As a metal fan who listens to mostly melodic death metal, thrash metal, groove metal and heavy metal this song is pretty good. After Temper Temper I didn't expect much from this band anymore. Scream Aim Fire is still the best music they have ever put out by far but this can compete with stuff from The Poison. And this is coming from someone who strongly dislikes the genre of metalcore but I always thought BFMV had good potential. This is a good thing but in my opinion it doesn't compete with the new Lamb of God song that came out Friday which is epic! But I'm excited to see both bands at the same concert this summer! Now I'm just sitting here waiting to see if new Slayer, Megadeth, Iron Maiden, Amon Amarth, Children of Bodom or Trivium have anything new to announce soon!
But anyways Matt's voice sounds greats and good work on the song and I'm looking forward to the album.
