I am 80 years old now, but was much younger when my husband and I saw a live performance here in Michigan. Since I danced many years myself, that performance kept me awake the night after we got home. That rhythm just didn’t want leave my body. Seeing it again here again gives my bumpy heart a most enjoyable jolt!
Even at 77 when you clear your mind and open up yourself, you can learn something. Stomp came on right after I had watched The Blue Man Group and I was too lazy to change it. Im glad i didn't because I saw young people with incredible natural talent and ability. I absolutely loved this! Thank you to those kids! You gave this old lady a lot of enjoyment! Bless all of you!!!
I love music, and drums and rhythms have always resonated deeply with me. I purchased their dvd, “Stomp out loud”, not long after it was released (around 1998 or thereabouts) and I just loved it. Their playfulness, humour, their use of everyday items/ utilities and incredible sense of rhythm was just mind blowing. The dvd is not live, more like a “studio” performance, where they for instance play in an actual kitchen - a fantastic “album”. An amazing group and I wish the dvd was purchasable through iTunes or similar so more people could discover them. I have never had the chance to see them live, so I loved finding this performance here. 💐😊
Sooo good....just saw 2023 Toronto cast!!! Just this afternoon...STUPENDOUS....An amazing show, I was mezmorized the whole time and the beats kept me moving....came home with an imprint on my ears!!! Had to watch again!!!!
Dans le genre qu'ils ont inventé, ils sont toujours les meilleurs du monde et ils le resteront à priori longtemps. On a pas fait mieux depuis. Simplement parce que c'est de la haute voltige qui mêle percussion, ingénierie du son, comédie et gymnastique sportive, le tout avec une très grande virtuosité. Ils sont les seuls à ce niveau dans le monde. Et c'est toujours une expérience unique de les voir et de les entendre sur scène. Bravo.

Yes. I was a huge fan when they first exploded on the scene here in America. And researching them, I found that there were, in fact, SEVERAL different STOMP teams who toured the states (and probably worldwide). What a bunch of talented people! I love the way they look so lackadaisical and relaxed....but if you look into their faces, you can tell the focus and dedication. AWESOME bunch of folks! I'm so happy Alex UI posted this!
