if i may ask, I know on the AMERICAN version of "train 2 win" (Called "Gladiators 2000") each team of contenders had 1 complete turn at firing the cannon (45 seconds for each contender, the first contender was required to switch when a horn sounded OR if half of the available shots had been used, whichever came first.) and 1 gladiator coach for each team got to run the actual course, (10 points for the team whose coach was running the course each time he or she hit the target, and the team who was at the cannon scored 5 points every time they hit the coach who was running the course, BUT my question is, did the gladiator who was running only have to be hit once for the event to end? (I'm guessing that the answer to this question is a "yes", BUT i could be wrong since I have never actually seen a full episode of the BRITISH kids version of "Gladiators"
So, this is Britain's version of Assault, except the contestant is behind the tennis ball gun thingy, the gladiators is the one being shot at, and they have no weapons, correct?
No. Assault was the exact same in the UK, where the gladiator had the tennis ball gun and the contender had weapons at each station. but in the children’s show they changed it so it was safer so they swapped the places and removed the weapons.
i loved train to win it showed the gladiators had a friendly caring well they always did key ones were jet vogue falcon warrior cobra saracen
Lightning was originally going to be a contender. She probably would have won it in season 1 had she competed.
I bet many men would have loved to have had a shot at Lightning in this game!
Have you got any videos of rhino from gladiators on other classic shows please thank you very much
It was just in the children's version.
In the adult's version the gladiators shoots at the contender, as always.
Train 2 Win Eliminator kinda reminds me of the event Pursuit.
You know, for kids
Is it me or does the kids version of the eliminator bear a striking resemblence to the course used in "Pursuit"?
You're absolutely right there.
I'd love a new train 2 win
3:22 Raider must have suffered hearing damage after this event.
I think it was more him trying to keep the safety glasses over his eyes as they were beginning to break off
@7Lightening Yeah they are or as there real names go Bernadette Hunt and Michael Ahearne
3:48 Whoa!!!!! Raider was taller than Warrior??????

Plus, in the grown-up Danger Zone, the weapons "self-destruct" every ten seconds.

I wonder how the gladiators felt about being on the other side of Danger Zone
It must of felt awkward for them
Those kids must be in their late teens now XD
Twenties, more like!!! Maybe even thirties!!!!
