I believe thats just the gist of what hes doing. Regardless of where you're from, or what your sign says. There would be more people passing you by, than that actually hugs you. I doubt it had anything to do with him being a muslim in itself.

Meh, being anything but French in France is quite hardcore! Let's not lose faith, maybe one day, we'll all be able to see eye to eye and walk hand in hand :)
