It wouldn't take very much to put a door into the back of the cabin and an enclosed walkway to your bathroom so you don't always have to go outside to access it. Just a thought for the future, if you decide you want to do something. Great location and great cabin. Someone else mentioned about a crock pot, but you might consider one of those pressure cookers that you can do all kinds of things with and they are much quicker, which may mean less electricity use. That is an amazing tiny cabin. Very well made. An outside bathroom is nice. Location is a great area. I love the scenery in the woods. Well organized inside as well. Nicely done.
Sweet little set up dude but I would also get me a Crock-Pot to go along with the microwave and the toaster oven. You could set it on the kitchen table right next to those and get you something good going in the Crock-Pot on a cold winter day. Just a suggestion man.
Or an insta-pot, those things are amazing ! They are several appliances in one. Nothing better than a pot of something hot and yummy cooking on a cold day 🥰
Ok I subscribed. This is really cool. Your little tour was very detailed and thats great for anyone really serious about taking there life in this direction. I would love to just don't have my own land and buying it at this point is so expensive and then codes and dealing with that .don't even no if it's possible. Something to think about .I'm single so nothing really holding me here so could move to where it is possible to do what your doing. Great ideas with that Rubbermaid shed converted to your cure bathroom then finished with the wood Is awesome .really liked that idea. And the cabin is so cute and everything you need. @@stephenbeard9882 Not necessarily a myth, back in the day battery cases were made out of different materials which were affected by sitting on cement. Admittedly these days the cases are made from rubber and/or plastic materials and therefore doesn't have the same affect.
Nice setup and I agree with the person that commented on connecting the bathroom... and I would have used a wood stove for heating and cooking but overall a cozy place for chillaxin!!👍🏿👍🏿✌🏿💯

Those sheds do have accessory kits for hangers (like tools) and for shelves you may want to look at. Perhaps you get a set, then make or have someone 3D print more? Pretty handy.

This cabin is smaller than my living room. My living room is 12 1/2 x 19. But then, he doesn’t have a stove. At least I didn’t see one? And a separate bathroom is fine, but as someone said, he should have a door in back close to the bathroom. Very well done if you have to live off the grid except for no back door. And I need a stove, or at least an induction hot plate. Pretty though and meticulous.

Bathroom buddy heater is always on with the pilot light and that seems to keep it from freezing in there, then when I go in there I turn it to high and it will heat up very fast and then I'll turn it to low till I and done in bathroom shed :)

Dude $22 for that crap at dollar store when for $3 you go garage sailing for Everything! Spray paint or leftover paint even if it doesn’t say for wood Works. I’ve used metal spray paint on baskets and wood and I’ve had my items over 30 years. Great Job I’m so envious I’d Love to live like this. I’m 55 but would Love to live Simpler, but my husband of 31 years is a city guy so it won’t happen. But enjoy you’re all set!👍🌈👍

2200 honda generator with heavy duty electrical cables from generator to outlets in the cabin... also power from generator to convertor to 2 rv Batts also solar into Batts and then power from Batts to inverter. So inside cabin there are regular outlets and outlets that are from the inverter. :)

I always thought a bathroom shed with showers and washer n dryer was best in the Tiny cabins ….. the Russians in the coldest places call them Waterhouses,,, they usually have oldstyle Saunas as well,,, you know with hot rocks,,, Look them up online,, it’s interesting. Also,,, if pipes burst its not inside your house,,,,,

Just $150 solar kit from harbor freight and 2200 Honda generator. Bathroom is nice behind so you don't always look at it. I'm so used to going back there to use it :)

I live off gri, hardcore off grid, small battery and panel, haul water, cut firewood, build things. I have so much work and I am just looking and the exercise bike and thinking what in the world you need that for? If you were truly enjoying that cabin in the woods you would never need a piece of exercise equipment. Get yourself a woodstove, and get out in nature. Just my opinion as mentally and physically I have never felt better. It will help you let go of the OCD and over thinking. I only need electric for my phone and tablet, sometimes my 12v fridge. By the way I live in rural central Portugal in a static van with extreme temps. Everyone asks if I am sweating at night in summer and freezing in winter in my metal box. Nope in summer I use cross ventilation, open the damn windows and in winter a wood stove and wool. First year living like this, mostly outside and first time in 20 years no bronchitis, chest or head cold. We need to regulate our bodies with nature more and use wool to keep dry and warm.
You know what you could do is just get you Get Dollar Store shower shelves you can actually at first I was telling you you can screw it to the wall that you could take some zip ties and you can connect it to the ring at the top like up against for the wall is he just zip tie it to the the ring around the top always I have found cuz I lived with tiny like I've lived in a camper figuring out ways to use height is always one of the best things I've ever done

Nice place...very cozy! Beanie is so cute! I wouldn't trust the dog. No offense, but better to be ultra-cautious than have a mangled cat. Give her someplace small & sturdy outside to escape into (or under) to get away from the dog (or other critters) if she can't get in the cabin.
That’s a great set up. I only have one question. How do you keep your generator from overheating being it’s all boxed up ? I understand the intake and exhaust but the overall heat generated from the generator. What keeps the piston from a meltdown ?

Made a frame and put thin insulation boards in and then sided it with wood :)

It is a kit that you buy that just hooks up to the generator. Was on ebay for like $100 to $150 I think.

It never gets warm in there even during the summer... big enough air flow for intake and exhaust... :)

Generator box seems quite air tight, do you have it vented for airflow to cool the generator, must get really hot in that box.
Yes big vent in back that draws air in and then big exhaust vent on other side :)
