Hey everyone, forgot to mention in the video that no, there isn't a speaker or mic built into the Watch GT 2e - so you can't take calls through it. Thanks for watching, I'm still using the Watch - that battery life definitely holding up as well as the original.
Thanks for the review, if I get a long email or WA message for example, will it all display in the notifications part of the watch? Or will only the first page show and then the rest has to be read on the phone?
Doesn't appear the OP can answer. I have the answer, the watch will not truncate any messages despite what I read in another review and it will display each and every notification and not group them together.
I swear this watch is worth it!!! I bought the Mint Green and it was perfect! I love how it accurately monitors my sleeping hours, the numerous activity tracking you can do and most of all THE BATTERY LIFE! I have been using it since June 29 on 100% and now July 2 the battery is at 70%! Imagine that!? Geeze! Really every penny spent with this watch is worth it! No need to be bothered by charging it then and now like the other smart watches out there. This is perfectly awesome! 😍😍😍 Bravo Huawei GT 2e ❤️
I think u forgot to say the main diference between GT2 and 2E : GT 2e doesn't have a microphone or speaker so you can't use a voice assistant with it or receive calls.
My watch gt2 stopped recieving WhatsApp call notification anymore. I used too get my WhatsApp call directly to my watch gt2. Now suddenly stopped working. However I tried connecting to iPhone it works fine. Only it's not working if I connected to any Android phone. Any idea? How to fix.
Not sure if it's just me back the previous GT2's screen looks pretty much perfect to me. I have the galaxy watch and I'm super jealous with that screen just melts into the bezel
The Huawei Honor band or Huawei Band 4 are much cheaper alternatives. Be aware that you will need to install the Huawei Mobile services app as well as Huawei Health. They may cause you problems if you have a lower spec phone. Also check out Umidigi Uwatch GT or Uwatch 3, or Xiaomi Mi Band 4. All of them come in at less than $100.
Just tried the Honor version and the poor performance and message handling cannot make up for the great battery life. Samsung Active 2 still worth the extra. I can see that this is still slow and laggy and no doubt message delivery is still the same. Thanks anyway.
Can you pair this Huawei watch with a heart rate monitor strap around your chest, to get a more accurate heart rate reading when you train with weights in the gym?
I didn't know you could make changes to the workout screen. My little Honor Magic worked the same. Thank you. GT2E does look cool. Might have to upgrade
How do you store music on your watch? and since you cant download the Spotify app on it, does that mean you cant use the watch to control spotify on your phone? sorry, i've never used a smartwatch so im curious...

Had a Hauwei P Samat and changed to. OP 7T. Got the Hauwei health app on the OP to carry on using my Hauwei band pro 3. Wouldn't connect to the band and said the app had to be updated through the app gallery. Any advice would be appreciated as I was looking to get the GT2e.
Hi...One question that may sound stupid. Since the iOS app does not support music transfer, would it be possible to pair it with an Android, transfer the music then pair it to an iphone and still have the music ???

As usual with Huawei watch, they're not compatible with other Mobile Brands. This is just a buff-up Honor Bands? :( Also not compatible with Strava, would love to use this on my Training/Run.

Got one yesterday but its promised 2 week battery was flat by the end of the day due it it constantly cycling through its features like a demo mode. Does anyone know how to turn the demo off.

Yep, you're right, no speaker or mic on here - so no call functionality
Also only the GT 2e has SPO2, the GT 2 doesn't have it.

Both have GPS but to see the map you'll need the huawei health app

Basically the same as the GT2, different straps, button shape and no mic or speaker.
The GT 2e now has SPO2, maybe that's why the speaker and mic was removed?
