I have shite for a rng in BDO as it took me 48 attempts with FS of 60-87 to get my TUVALA to pen. FFS, TUVALA? I still have one piece left to pen (gloves) but I used all those failures on the armor to pen everything else, LOL, so wasn't a complete waste though I did go through 1800+ crons on the accessories (glad I did cause when I ran out I blew two up to dust). I am afraid what the RNG will do to me on BOSS weapons/armor.

I'll try one time free PEN BS enhancement. Tapped it with the last J's hammer. BOOM. PEN BS!! Guildies went crazy it was fun :D My other gear was some old TRI boss armors, Asula accessories, TET dande and TET Kutum :D I was NOT supposed to get a PEN BS yet :D Anyways, this video popped up for me now, after watching a 2h video of a guy playing 5+ years of BDO and explaining what is wrong in it. Conspiracy Theory with circumstantial evidence: Returning player luck is a thing in this game. Last summer I was grinding for at least 4 hours per day while working towards my first PEN Blackstar weapon. After failing 5 PEN attempts on a 240 stack, I ended up converting it to a Godr-Ayed weapon and started that bullshit process. It went okay until I was trying to enhance from TRI to TET. I ended up failing 40 times before it succeeded and then finally hit PEN after failing another 10-15 times. I took an extended break from the game after that and returned a few days ago with the returning player designation. There was a J's Hammer code available, so I grabbed a piece of TET armor off the marketplace and made a 210 stack to give it a whirl. I one tapped Blackstar mainhand to PEN with that 210 stack and J's Hammer. Two days later, PA gave out another J's Hammer for the Maegu event. I used that armor piece and a 150 stack that I received for free and built a 206 stack. With the second J's hammer, a 206 stack, and a dream, I once again one tapped a PEN Blackstar (offhand this time). Don't get me wrong, I'm thrilled to have all three PEN Blackstar weapons completed, but part of me is actually a little bit pissed off. I spent at least 350 hours grinding my ass off for that first PEN Blackstar weapon, and then it was just... spend a few billion silver to make a 210 stack and a 206 and slam my remaining TETs with free hammers.
