Wooow very helpful but now my question is how can the columns be organized such that the maximum loading can increase downwards. That is there is a situation whereby bigger reinforcement occurs at the upper part of the column than the starter bars which is obviously unreal.
Thx a lot for insightful video. I have the similar question with patrick. The warning arise in making building analysis. Its is written "Warning:difference between building results and decomposed beam loads (%)= 5.00 It may be advisable to check the building model." That is the warning, if its possible you can help us. I am from Rwanda. Thx
is there any important to put wall load through out beams? since slab self weight+partition(wall, alum, timber etc)+fineshes because loads from slabs converted to beams already!?
Am Eric from Ghana am trying to do my slab analysis but it not working it say modal should be regenerated after the parameters in the tab are modified.
Hey, My name is Mesfin and I am ffrom Ethiopia. I got this warning after analysis when i tried to design column. Column: 1C1 (Storey: 1), Building Analysis Combination Results not found... This happed on the first story column only.
my model cannot proceed to analysis- i get this information- analysis can be carried out when all storeys populated. models with empty storeys cannot be analysed
Difference Between Building Analysis Results and Undecomposed Beam Loads (%) = 6.19. That's what it's saying . Beam 0.0 Slab 0.0 Ribbed Slab Total 0.0 0.0 00 0.0 00 Yield Line approach for beam load decomposition may not be adequate for this model.

Hello this is my question as well i get the same warning
I have followed the procedure above and the error has disappeared. Thank you so much from Kenya
@@danmuchwanju1757 hi Dan where in Kenya are you
I always thought i made mistakes in my design analysis results each time i encountered this.. i am happy this will be over

Very commendable!

Sir
Kindly make a detailed video on earthquake analysis in Protastructure 2018
