We went there but theres no fireworks display on New Years i dont know maybe because it was windy that night. Thank you for your reply. Best of luck to your channel :)
I love big firework displays! Back home we have the National Firework Championships which are always so much fun to wach - but nothing compares to these! That sphere that split in half at 0:47 - just amazing. Spending New Year in Tokyo - now thats on the bucket list :)
I love firework shows. A few years ago there was a Canadian tv show called "Pyros". It was about a fireworks team from Quebec. It showed competitions around the world, visits to factories, and fire festivals. I never saw a smiley face made from fireworks before now.
That sounds like an interesting documentairy. Wonder if I could find it somewhere online. I know there are some competitions in the Netherlands during the summer.
Awesome fireworks!! We were actually in Odaiba in December and loved all the pretty lights around the area. The Rainbow Bridge is definitely a gorgeous view.
I feel sooo torn about fireworks. They are so bad for the environment and animals but so beautiful! Japan really knows how to make them extra beautiful :) thanks for sharing!
Very cool fireworks display, awesome to be right by the Rainbow Bridge too. I would love to see Tokyo on New Year's Eve - it's such a fun city! Was it busy where you watched them?
Thanks! It's just a Sony Handycam that I've had for 4 years. It's a great little camera! Although, the battery life is getting shorter as it's getting older.
Hello! May i ask where was this taken? Was this at Odaiba Marine/seaside Park? Cause were planning to watch there on New Years Eve 5days from now. But we dont know where to go or place our camera. Would really appreciate your response! Thank you! :)
Hi! Sorry for the late reply, I was traveling :) Yes, it was at Odaiba. I was at the waterside, behind the mall. Not sure if there will be a display tomorrow as I thought it was only on Saturdays....

Oh no! I'm sorry to hear you missed it. Did you have a good time in Tokyo though?
Cool we are Tokyo this year for the Rugby World Cup can't wait. That was a pretty awesome fireworks display.
That should be fun! My friend saw rugby this year in Japan and really enjoyed it.

You should! It's something different.
It had been a while since I saw firework around New Year's. In China they don't really celebrate it.

I love fireworks and those did not disappoint. What a great way to celebrate new years!
These fireworks were pretty nice! And just like you said; good way to start the new year.
How lovely!! I can't wait to the day I get to see Fireworks in Japan in person!!
That would be so much fun! Do you have any travel plans?
what an awesome fireworks display!
It was quite impressive!
GoYvon I can only image what it was like in person

The lights were nice as well. It's a good location for a fireworks display.
Lovely fireworks indeed!!! Great opportunity to celebrate New Year. I guess Tokyo is nice choice for that.
It was fun to celebrate the New Year's in Tokyo. Really enjoyed going to the temple and eating the street food.
Japan always has great fireworks display. They never do disappoint! Thanks for sharing! :) 👌
Do they? This was the first Japanese fireworks display for me to see.
Pretty fabulous display! Wow!
It was really cool to see!
beautiful
Thanks!
fantastic fireworks show! so jealous you were able to be in Tokyo for new years! Happy 2018! cheers ~sara
Happy Late 2018! It was fun to be there for New Year's. We spent the evening at a temple, quite a unique experience.
I feel sooo torn about fireworks. They are so bad for the environment and animals but so beautiful! Japan really knows how to make them extra beautiful :) thanks for sharing!
True! It's really bad indeed. I've experienced the Chinese New Year a few times here in Beijing and the days after the smog is just unbearabel.
that's a ton of fireworks.... the show is amazing... was the event free?
Yes, totally free! Just have to get there by subway and those are a little pricey in Japan.
yes i've heard that the bullet train is way too expensive... its about 14K PHP hahaha
Very cool fireworks display, awesome to be right by the Rainbow Bridge too. I would love to see Tokyo on New Year's Eve - it's such a fun city! Was it busy where you watched them?
It was busy, but not super busy. It was doable :)
There was no fireworks on New Year's Eve though, we went to the temple to celebrate it.
Wow what a light show!! The smiley face was a nice touch. Also, great quality image. What camera did you capture this with?
Thanks! It's just a Sony Handycam that I've had for 4 years. It's a great little camera! Although, the battery life is getting shorter as it's getting older.
Wow it was amazing to see those. Hey I just saw the smiley firework for the first time in your video . Is it common there? It looks so amazing :)
Not sure if it's common for them to create smilies with it. Had never seen it before.

Nice Firework, I never go out at siklvester because the people are annoying with their stupid firecracker :D
I don't like fireworks much either. It's so dangerous! I enjoy watching it from a distance though.
Heel gaaf dit!
Bijzonder om mee te maken inderdaad!
