- Trent River Falls BC is another one of my favorite waterfalls. It is tall, massive and powerful. Be careful when descending to the falls as the slope can be slippery. Make sure to bring a towel and some lunch as there is a swimming hole at the base. In the winter, Trent River Falls makes for gorgeous photos, videos and all around good times.
Access to the trail-head is from the north bound lane of the Inland Island Highway on the north side of the Trent River Bridge, near the Comox Valley.
There are two rough tracks lead into the forest by the parking area, follow the path that has a bit of a dip, but isn’t ditched. At the end of the path there is a couple of pullouts. Look for a well used trail that leads off to the left. Follow it to the top of the slope down to the river.
Look for ropes as the decent down is quite steep.

TH-cam recently changed the way they monetize my content. My channel now need 1000 subscribers so it would be awesome if you could show your support by both watching my videos and subscribing to my channel if you have not already done so. Monetizing my video's allows me to invest back into the channel with new equipment so a small gesture from you goes a huge way for me. Thanks for you support.

Pretty wild trail going down to the falls and leaving is really nutz you'll need to put your dog on your back to climb the vertical cliff leaving I had to lol .
Nice, I plan on visiting there some time soon.
I was just there the water is low so you can come down the ropes in your video walk across the river nice beach there now and go vertical up the other side and walk back up the river above the falls back to the trail back to where you started. Awesome loop.
Most of the lakes in the area are low as well.
Thanks for sharing the way to those neat falls !
Is the trail on the right hand side of the river? we parked on the southbound side and walked down underneath the over passes and walked down to a trail that lead us up the river but then died out. I think now the trail must be from where we parked to the right and through the woods above the river?
G-Rad if you cross under the bridge you will need to take the trail to the left not the right. It will lead you to an old logging road. Follow the road for about 5 minutes when it end you will find/see a path leading down the hill. Follow this path all the way down to the river and the falls.
Hope this helps
Just was here today, there is a trail if you park northbound on the far side that only takes 15 minutes to walk down to the river
