Class action against the companies that claim flushable and septic safe wipes
Problem is the companies that produce those wipes aren't lying about them being flushable because they will go down when you flush the toilet. Now if they said they break down when flushed that would be a lie. If only you knew the number of people who tried to sue and lost.

@@Yo-Da-Action never seen any that say septic safe. All I ever see here is the words flushable. If it does say septic safe then yes there is ground to sue. As far as saying flushable then no there is no grounds. That's why we have put it in the lease for my apartments that if there is a blocked drain and wipes are found the tenants are responsible for the plumbing expenses
I think class action isnt whats needed here. COMMON SENSE is whats needed. Wipes arnt meant to be the only thing used. One or 2 once in a while will be fine not every time you shit or piss. At the end of the day they are still wipes that haven’t broke down. USE YOUR TRASH CAN. Especially if those are old pipes. Which im willing to bet are. COMMON SENCE.

I want to give multiple thumbs up due to the hard work and the crazy amount of wipes pulled free. All I can say is God bless the homeowner and make sure to call them yearly to clean out their drains.
My gosh!! 1/2 of those look like strips of flour sack towels, not flushable wipes. They're opaque, not even a little bit see thru like most normal flushable wipes.

I love how every single customer that has wipes sitting on the top of the toilet tanks say we don't flush them then I pull out a couple of hundred of them or they say it must have been the last people who lived here. I tell them they are the only one who could have done it and they still continue to lie. I just tell them I'll see you tomorrow or in a couple of days before I leave.

I never knew how much I was missing drain unblocking videos from my life! My dad used to work for the council in London clearing drains in tower blocks of flats and it was horrific !!
Above the drain there should be an inscription that reads "I never met a wipe that I liked" and dedicated to plumbers everywhere.
Hell, plumbers probably invented wipes, along with garbage disposals. Way to ensure good business....
I would leave the wipes laying there for the person who threw them in there to clean up! She would never do it again!
It sounds like she has an elderly lady who uses a commode, which might mean they have carers in . We had the same problem with my parents house . They used wipes with mum when she was being cared for and they just emptied everything down the loo instead of bagging the wipes in the provided clinical waste bags which are collected separately by the council .

This amount of wipes rivals the loads pulled out at the Thames Water plant I visited a few years back. Was incredible to see what people actually think is acceptable to flush. Even saw a bra hanging in the filter comb thing.

In my last house the downstairs bathroom wasn't working, the plumber came and couldn't work it out. I took up the outside drain cover and found four kilos of wipes all glued to each other mixed with you know what. It took me a day to get it all clean then I dried it and cemented a more fluid bend in the drain so future waste would flow more easily. I'm just a housewife not a plumber!

thing is even if the customer is lucky that their drains dont get badly blocked by the wipes, the mains do ! Maybe United Utilities should start asking all drainage companies to report customer drains blocked by wipes so that they can send them an increased water bill to pay for the damage they're doing

The most I got out of 1 line was half a tonne of wipes that came from a care home I got the manager out and was told they didn’t flush them !!! This was the only place they could of come from as there was the start of the run (which means the pipe started at this point! In fact every blockages I have been to with wipes as the cause no body ever uses them funny that !! Must be the wipe fairy!!!!

Ok so now I have watched to the end of the video - You should find out who uses wet wipes in the property and promptly slap them around the face a couple of times using one of the wipes from the drain whilst stating "wet wipes do not go down the toilet" until they understand.

In Australia the White King company that advertised its wet wipes as 'flushable' was taken to court and fined A$700K by the Competition and Consumer Commission for damage caused to the sewage system. Meanwhile in the UK......................

I invested in a little shower type hose that runs off the water supply to toilet! Cheaper,cleaner and none damaging to the sewer system!!!

The problem is the packaging says they're "flushable" so people flush them without giving it a second thought.
😠 - particularly with “andrex washlets/kandoo” and those who are squeamish - the wipe has excrement smeared on it = must be flushed down the toilet - ❌ = that is what the sanitary waste, bathroom/toilet bin is for

I honestly thought the flushable ones broke up since that's what they advertise. I never knew even "flushable" ones do this to systems until I started watching drain unclogging videos. I now just throw them in the trash. Companies should be held accountable for things like this due to false advertising.

Hear In western USA we have devices in our business toilets that stops wipes from being flushed. Looks like a blade in the bottom of the bowl.

I’ll admit, we do buy those so called ‘flushable’ wipes, but we adults don’t flush them in our home for this exact reason. I have a bin next to the loo, sure the kids have accidentally flushed a few but the older they get the more responsible they are becoming. Oh and it also helps to tell them it comes out of their savings if we need our plumber to unblock the system because of wipes.

I worked in the Central Plant at a hospital. The hospital eventually banned wipes due to the plumbing problems they caused for the Maintenance crew.
