2 years ago when I arrived to Verona I was able to find a very decent apartment for 800 euros/month. Today I have some friends trying to find where to live and they cannot find anything decent bellow 1100
What an eye-opener, thank you. Maybe I'll just stay in London since life seems even more expensive in Italy, and in London we have free museums, food banks that are currently helping me, free travel for people who are ill or pension age and more small houses with private gardens. I grew up in Italy in flats, I hate living in flats, they're like prison cells to me. Thank you
delusional. i live in italy(moved here 2y ago) and it is so much cheaper than the UK. Torino rent 650? even where i live you can find 600eur nice house with a garden. How much is that in London? Yeah, thought so. Bills are the same as last year. I pay 100eur /month for electricity, water, gas. INternet is 25eur and cell phone is 8eur. Compare this prices in the UK. Free museums? Yeah there are free museums in italy but i am not giving ideas for free because not paid for that. But how much you spend on museums anyway? Do you live in a museum? Uffizzi which is probably the most amazing museum in the world cost 25eur full price ticket. Is that expensive? Trains arent cheap in the UK either and italy trains are so much better than trains in the UK. They are clean, well maintained and comfortable not like those crapy crowded trains in London and UK... Drama girls says restaurants are empty. LOL. Where i live near sul mare, the good restaurants wouldnt take if you dont have a reservation because they are always packed and full. I know a restaurant owner and he gives me table sometimes because we are regulars but it is nearly impossible to get in. And i am talking about February/march, not even summer season yet. This girl in the video either dramatizing everything or she has low budget. Italy was one of the cheapest in europe so inflation of 20% increase means it is still half price than UK. But i am not giving free ideas, just check your facts before you believe the drama girl. Stay in the UK. Less expats are better for me because you guys ruin italy anyway with all the entitlement..
@@DPost-bx6jv everyone is entitled to an opinion. But put your hand on your heart and say it honestly that italy is more expensive than UK….if not dramatizing then exaggerating.
@@coratheexplorer1824 lol. Don’t worry i will never go and live there Italy is times better. UK is falling apart anyway and soon the English have to move out somewhere livable.
Try it just renting for a few weeks or months first to see if you really want to be in France. I speak fluent French and at times the people are still not so easy to get along with compared to other nationalities. I’ve noticed it’s slightly better in the south of France but even so still creates a weird vibe if you’re not used to it and willing to get along with it.
When l search for min wage in Italy, Google shows that 1150 EUR, median salary is about 2500 EUR.. I don't think that a single person who lives under those circumstances survives easily.
wtf - how much do i need all in for living in pisa for instance? At warsaw it takes about 1400 EUR for decent living without savings. Any info please?>
I am moving to Padua, Italy this year as a university student, could you talk about rent for students? Is it also similar to the prices you commented?

I was thinking about living in Italy or France, but you’ve made up my mind to move to France.

Thanks. Very helpful.
You're welcome!
What about Rimini? Do you have/ know any video I can watch about this town?
Sure, I have two vlogs from there :)
