  • Just outside Stourport on severn in Worcestershire, lies the historic grade 1 building, Hartlebury Castle.
It was originally a castle in 1268 but after its fortifications were destroyed in 1648, it soon after became a country mansion.
Over time, the castle became known as the Bishop’s palace, the official name given to the bishops residence.
We had a brilliant day exploring and managed to catch the fun wizard school lesson fun in the great hall, along with a pumpkin trail!
There is always lots of great events on and not only can you explore the Bishop’s Palace but you can also visit the Worcestershire country museum, as part of your day here.
The grounds also have a lovely walk you can take around the perimeter and there’s an adventure playground to have fun in too.
So much to come back to see and enjoy!
