Man the transformation always gives me shivers, and when he transformed at the end of the series it actually put me to tears. When he said he'd be the Greatest, Kindest, Strongest Demon King... it really did hit me hard when that was in Ohma's transformation. Zi-o was a flawed series, but damn did some of it's elements and quirks really land with me.

But I have a logical explanation: If Sougo failed to obtain Oma Zi-O's powers in time, Swartz would escape and leave the World of Zi-O in a state of utter chaos from all the worlds clashing together. The whole "he caused the extinction of half of the population" could be explained as him either having taken too long to fix things, or his despair driving him mad enough to transform into Oma Zi-O but completely unaware of how destructive his new power is. Whether the monsters killed half the population before he became Oma Zi-O, or he did so when he became Oma Zi-O, people would still be "right" to blame him for "erasing half of the population".

Okay, it makes sense that the display would switch between green and purple for W CycloneJoker, just like it makes sense that it'd switch between red and blue for Build RabbitTank. You know what *doesn't* make sense? The fact that the display stays solid red for OOO. Was programming it to cycle between red, yellow, and green too complicated for the toy to handle? I agree with you. At least you don't have to press 20 times to get to Zi-O. Well, with Ohma Zi-O's powers, he can just stand still while pressing the belt, so I can see why they designed it that way.
I mean, this is just a toy replica, the real driver doesn't work like this. Ohma can think what ability he wants to use and the driver will activate it, proof is that you can see Sougo uses Kuuga's kick and summons bats in the final episode right away without any belt pressing.

I think they missed an opportunity by not putting the finisher sounds after the finisher's name. It's all the same sound and it gets very, very repetitive

Because that's Blade's first Rider kick move with Thunder and Kick Rouze card.
While Lightning Sonic uses 3 Rouze card which is Kick, Thunder and Mach Rouze card.
