Additional rule: in the shop you have to role. 1-4 you can’t buy anything, 5-8 the other players can ban you from choosing any item besides 1. 9-12 they get to ban all but 2. 13-16 they get to ban only 1 item. 17-20 you get to choose.
If you guys do it again, you should tweak it so that rolls make extra wacky stuff happen, instead of making normal stuff not happen. Maybe instead of failing to buy an item completely, an opponent forces you to buy an item of their choice? Maybe do a roll for each minigame and give a random person a random punishment (wait for 5 seconds, play one-handed/with feet/with oven mitts, play while eating/singing/jumping/doing a speech etc). Otherwise, instead of a crazy game, it just turns into a game where nobody gets anything done. Also, Mario Party 3 might work a little better for this! You get to make more choices and the boards move a lot faster.
Can't wait for Sophist to cast Thunder Spell on everybody after crit failing multiple times in Mario Party D&D lmao. Some suggestions for doing this next time: if someone lands on Bowser, anything below 10 on the next roll is either a crit fail or you're forced to give up one of your items or stars next possible turn. If someone lands on an event space, based on what happens on the event space, you either gain another advantage or disadvantage. Otherwise, great video!
Last place Mario Party could be fun, a few rules: 1) stars must be purchased if can afford 2) strategically sabotaging yourself while boosting the other players 3) either compete for last in mini games or for first (think either can be fun) 4) whatever else you all decide.
We need more dice cams next time :D Reading the comments I'm excited for the next episode and I agree with them on doing extra actions when you roll instead of not allowing certain tasks
With buying items from the shop, I think the number you have to roll should be equal to the price. For example, if you want to buy a skeleton key, which is 3 coins, you would have to role 3 or higher.
Actually, the keys canonically don't like it when you use them to unlock the door. More importantly, I feel that if you have to roll a 15 for buying a Star, you should have to roll something higher than that to steal one since that costs more Coins.
This is one of my favorite concepts so far I feel like adding actual dice and a dice tower and cam for it would be a pretty easy gimmick to repeat with Mario party and still be fun
This is months late but I raise you: The Duels Clause If two players initiate a duel, the person who places the bet rolls. On a 1-10, the better can bet less than half of their coins. On an 11-20, they must bet more than half
I think the next rule will be if you target somebody with a boo, then the chances of stealing coins or stars will depend on your roll. Additionally, if you roll a 20, then you can do whatever you want.
A pretty good multiplayer D&D game that I know of is a beat'em up by Capcom called Chronicles of Mystara. It would be interesting to see what route the Sidequest team will take in the game.
GGs, but I feel like the rules as is are too brutal with little things going on. I’d say General rolls (using/buying items) requires a roll of at more than 5 and to buy a star you’ll need 10 or higher. Bonus for Boo: - Roll a 1 and you MUST steal a coin randomly (Since using the boo is mandatory in this game) - Rolling 2-10 lets you steal a coin from anyone of your choosing - Rolling 11-14 lets you steal a coin or a star (but randomly for a star) - Rolling 15-20 lets you steal a coin or a star, if you choose to steal coin the victim is not allowed to mash.
I think maybe you could roll for the Star 3 times and only get it if you roll 15 or higher once (since you can say no 3 times to not get it) but you can't use your advantage roll on the star as that would be kind of redundant.
Please, for the love of making the game actually happen: for stars, the requirement is still 15+, BUT you can roll up to three times (once for each time Toadette asks). Advantage and disadvantage carry over each try. Also, using items shouldn't count as a check, or if it does it should be a low requirement, like 5. Shops and Boos, though, still should.
If you ever go and do this again, maybe be a lil more lenient on yourselves. Cause making only a 25% chance to get the star really made it far harder than necessary. I think next time, normal choices should be 5 or higher, stars should be 10 or higher, and using a golden pipe or stealing a star via Boos should be 15 or higher. I Think that'd make it a bit more fun of a game rather than constantly telling toadette no
You trash Dokapon Kingdom because you are *cowards.* Go ahead, play Dokapon! ...er, after hiding all of the sharp, blunt, and/or heavy objects, first. 😅
Isn’t that just dokapon kingdom
this isn't weeb trash
Isnt that just Fortune Street on the wii?
I was about to ask if it’s Dokapon Kingdom!😂
Then again, it’s like watching the nostalgic Land Before Time YTP: Dungeons and Dinosaurs.
Isn’t that just Mario Party but we added (more) luck (skill)

Also Choc: "It's confusing."😄

Or we could just invite Sophist to be dungeon master. :V

Cant wait to see the party crashers steal this idea and make their own video
I CAST THUNDERSPELL
Hahah!
The Party Crashers have suffered through enough terrible DnD rolls over on MaigcTheNoah's channel
@@JostleJinswas it all eevee
Now I'd actually love to see an actual Mario Party-styled RPG Mario game. At the same time tho, how would that work?
Technically, there's Dokapon Kingdom, but it's a bit more RPG than Mario Party.
Haha, silly human asking silly questions.
*It wouldn’t.*
That's just Dokapon tho
@@percher4824 First.
I can’t wait to see a dnd campaign on sidequest. This will be great
It may not be as fun to do as rolling a pillow, but using an actual D20 would remove the possibility of it rolling on edge.
Honestly this is probably the most elaborate, complicated yet entertaining way to play Mario Party. I'm here for it 🙌
Last place Mario Party could be fun, a few rules:

WOAH! I've NEVER seen the rocket in the item minigame go OVER and kill the person!
Mario Party with DND rolls will be quite funny to see haha. Gonna be quite the watch!
I can’t wait to see this dissolve into madness
Landing on Chance Time, you have to roll 15+ to do the mashing A to land on steal a star
With buying items from the shop, I think the number you have to roll should be equal to the price. For example, if you want to buy a skeleton key, which is 3 coins, you would have to role 3 or higher.
good idea!
So they just can't buy Golden Pipes, then? Or can they do that with a 20? The rest of the items work well with that rule.
@@kurtmatteson4914 I don't see why you'd want to buy a golden pipe tby, considering you need to role 10 to use it and 15 to get the star.
@Pyro03333 Well, those rules can be changed. I've seen suggestions to lower the "use item" check to 5 and to get 3 chances to get a 15 for a Star.
Actually, the keys canonically don't like it when you use them to unlock the door.
More importantly, I feel that if you have to roll a 15 for buying a Star, you should have to roll something higher than that to steal one since that costs more Coins.
You should add that each minigame you roll for 15+ to add a special rule for the minigame

Can we all agree that Bowser is the BBEG in this campaign?
I think the next rule will be if you target somebody with a boo, then the chances of stealing coins or stars will depend on your roll. Additionally, if you roll a 20, then you can do whatever you want.
Bane's voice actor in harley quinn has made me look at him and feel bad and want to be his friend
Spoiler:
This is actually the first time I've seen cases win a mario party. And yknow what, he definitely deserves it. Major congrats.
I'm thinking of a new rule for 1 vs 3 scenarios, in which if the one wins or lose, they will get an advantage or a disadvantage

There's ALWAYS 2 bonus stars. Never seen 3
Tecnically exist 3 bonus stars in Mario Party Supertars but only for game of 30 turns
Ayo, next time you guys do this. My suggestion is to buy an actual dice. That way you guys have the definitive "this is your number"
Wow, so a normal star is 15 but a Boo to STEAL is only 10?
"Luigi was born in the lead. Molded by it"
please do an acutal dnd campaign. that would be hype.
Turning Mario Party into dungeons and dragons was a really cool idea, make the video really really fun 😊
only 3 bonus stars when it is the longest game
Thank you editor :)
Evil won today
What exactly are you trying to imply?!?
how did you manage to get nat 20 immediately followed by a nat 1
If only sophist was here to cast thunder spell
CASEY DID IT!!! I KNEW HE COULD!!
Thank you, it took everything I had
It;s like Super Kirby Clash
You should make the buy item check need a roll to be at least the price of the item they want
Next time you may need a real die, not just a plush.

Skeleton keys galore!

11:24 getting a little close to copyright infringement
R8 if u do again, if get to split path say what way u want to go then roll, if u dont roll a 10 then u don’t get to go the way u want to go lol
Pov if mario party was called super mario rpg party
Part of me thinks you should've used an actual die instead of the giant plush.
LETS GO GUYS!
PLEASE DO A D & D GAME
I cast thunderspell
I cast thunder spell
the boo steal star should have made the player roll 15 or higher
I agree but I was not about to self sabotage my only chance of victory.
I really want to see them do an actual DnD campaign. I’d pay money for that. (Not really plz don’t make me pay)
You should probably play a bit bg3 if you want an rpg game :p
Wait til these guys find out about Mario Part DS, aka the best one
Do more rpg style
I would comment but I didn’t roll a 10 or more.
Losers of 1V3 minigames get disadvantage
