one more tip for PvP, you want to priotitize HIDING your base, instead of protecting it with turrets. Unless you are a big tribe only having little to no offline time, your defenses will do nothing against the more advanced players. Defenses buy time, but wont shut down a raid. Also I have a question: I was a very dedicated to ocean once I played ASE. Almost living there with tons of aquatic tames and sitting on lockers with silica pearls. So, you mentioned that ocean is more beautiful right now it seems, but pretty empty. Is ocean for real bad right now? At least compared to ASE, did it become more good or bad? I only heard that they didn't add any new aquatic dinos yet((

Cant believe they removed beginner servers and extending raft foundations. Some inherently unnecessary changes here; that I would easily take over the few QOL changes made ngl

I think your first 10 to 20 hours you don't really need any explanation you just die and repeat and then figure it out. But the mid-late game is almost impossible to figure out without a guide. Just finding the caves alone and figuring out what kind of builds you need for them is almost impossible. I played 200 hours on a couple different playthroughs and only ever found two caves on accident.
another tip for people who play pve and are brand new, DONT get a starter kit if you are joining an unofficial server, almost all of them offer one and it’s cool or whatever but you’re going to have sm more fun going out and getting something for yourself than have it handed to you by an admin
You dont join pvp to win you play it to raid, loot and, kill each other and have fun take it from someone who was too dumb to realize that till the end of my time playing ark in general. But by all means if you wanna experience ark and its many special tames, dragons and, teck play pve with some friends its pretty fun to nor have to worry aboit raidimg or having one person on to host the server.
PVP advice at 24 min is critical. Soon as you start "farming" and "caring" you start losing the game. You can't farm your way to invulnerability and pvp supremacy on pvp servers. You have to care less and make people pay for their care.
