    Verry nice video of the trf420... I still race the trf419x just for fun.
    It's good to have guy's like you to keep the Trf alive👍
    I wonder what the next trf will be.

      Good to hear you are racing the 419X, which is still a very good and competitive car!

    Very good and informative video Dai, just what I have been looking for as I am still finishing off my TRF420 after the "epic" build. One question the TA08 front way set is that a good option to upgrade too? Thanks again

      If you are driving on a track, where absolutely no braking is needed, a Front One Way might be an option. I have not seen any such track in the past 10 years.

    Is TRF 421X really better than TRF420X, I felt like 420X is stronger. Please share your thought.

    • @sakaguchinetshop
      @sakaguchinetshop  11 วันที่ผ่านมา

      Yet, there is no 421X.
      Definitely the 421 is a big step over 420X. Increased corner speed and more scalability with rear traction makes it the spearhead of TRF.

    I'm curious, I see you have the backwards facing bodymounts as well, do you use different bodies, and use them when needed, or whats the idea?

    • @sakaguchinetshop
      @sakaguchinetshop  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Currently I am using them as Anti-Tuck System. So still rear vertical mounts needed.
      But as soon as the RC-Maker ones (-S) will be available I will switch to them.

    Warum fährst du nicht den TA07 MSX? Gibts da fahrerisch große Unterschiede/Nachteile zwischen den beiden?

    • @sakaguchinetshop
      @sakaguchinetshop  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Der TA07MSX ist leider nicht wirklich konkurrenzfähig. Ich vermute, dass es am eigenwilligen Oberdeckdesign liegt.

    Hi Dai! I have been watching your videos lately and I am looking to get may 1st trf kit. Is it worth waiting for the trf420x to come out april/may or since locally, we still have the trf419xws and trf420 available, what would you recommend?

    • @sakaguchinetshop
      @sakaguchinetshop  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      It is not easy to give you a full answer on your question! First of all, the more experienced you are, the more you will be able to unlock the full potential of a TRF car. In other words: If your lap times on a track differ more than 0,3sec (StDev) from each other, you should rather alter your skills with an mid or entry-level model. A good set-upped TT-02 will be always faster than a bad set-upped TRF420!
      I cannot judge the performance of the new 420X, but I would not expect it to be far behind the 420. What I can say is, that from 419X/XR to the 420 there was quite a remarkable step in terms of drivability. The best lap time will not necessarily differ so much comparing all recent TRF touring cars.
