@@patread5799 In general, taller, stronger, better endurance, longer reach, so less physical effort is needed for a man to achieve the same standard. There's also better spatial awareness. Prof. Linda Duffy explains some of the differences in her study.

Women’s professional sport should be separated, because if sport was combined very few women would be good enough to win against men. TV coverage and prize money shouldn’t high as men’s sports is a totally different standard.

Absolutely great player in the women's game and she understands that, she also is right that separate tournaments should be the way forward. As she said it's only throwing 3 darts, but at the same time it's more than that and she knows that.

I don't understand this perspective... the physical differences should be negligible in darts - why doesn't Beau want to break some ceilings and work towards clinching a championship in the "men's" game? Especially as there's such little competition in the women's game. I could've told you the final 4 and then likely final 2 before the tournament started.
She played the Super Series, where she done very well, but i guess the mens competition is tough too handle and she is young anyway, hope she didnt get to comfortable and only playing in the Women Tournaments, Maybe Sherrock on a good is able to beat her, but otherwise no opponents really.

Not sure what to make of it. She basically doesn't like the Grand slam because she's not good enough at least she s right on that part. No real reason why they should be kept apart as there is no physical contact. The main reason is that women just can't hack it. The token gesture of giving them places in the World Champs pdc speaks volumes

Apart yes, but the money in womens darts is so low, it's impossible for all but 2 or 3 players to play it on a full time schedule without having to get a 2nd job... If going in a men's tournament and getting a few $1,000 out of it, or guaranteed appearance fees, the money is needed. 1,250 pounds for exiting the ``1st round, that doens't even cover the cost to stay at a hotel during the event let alone paying bills back home. 10.000for the womens wonner vs 6 figures for the mens winner.... That's the problem.

What do you mean ‘give her a shot’? If she wants to play on the tour she needs to get her tour card. The only thing keeping her away from the ‘men’ is herself!

I guess she wants "her cake and eat it too". Separate tournaments and then the same prize money. After all its unfair the men are getting more prize money for the same product. I don't think even Matchroom could generate enough interest in women's darts and from that the revenue that's in the men's game.

Darts is one of the only sports where is has nothing to do with size, strength or physicality. It's all practice and skill. Man or women, you both are throwing the dart of your choice and playing 501. There is absolutely no reason why men and women should be separated. Beau says "playing Van Gerwen or even Littler is a losing battle from the start." How? Because they are better at darts than you? That's not a gender problem. You just have a problem with losing.
Ladies can’t hack it as much as men.. which is why the game’s are so much shorter. The skill base isn’t as matched either.. you notice when the women play its complete silence and when the men play its constant shouting singing whistling, booing, all sorts.. the women can’t handle that and thats darts most of the time !!
did you watch MVG and Luke humphries final and watch fallon vs greaves?? watch both matches back-to-back and you will see how much better the men really are, not even close, humpries, littler MVG M smith rob cross would smoke greaves easy as pie first to 18 legs, and she's the best female player by far.
@@jackson2620 She's 20. Your argument is based on no further improvement. Simply untrue. At 20 she is as good if not better than most of the top men were at that age. She should be using these informative year to build experience against the best which will push her to improve and tighten up her game. I agree with the OP, she is hinting at signs of having a problem with losing. She averages 100 plus frequently. I mean at 18 she nearly beat William O'Connor at the World's, he is a very solid player. And imo she only lost that due to nerves and a lack of big stage experience. Forget about her sex, and it is clear she should be trying to compete on the main PDC pro tour.

I disagree women can compete with men at darts it will only push them on it's about throwing a straight dart not who's stronger or fitter. Snooker darts and pool sex doesn't come into it played against many women in pub leagues and lost a few games cos they played better. Step up and don't complain

they would never have a chance of beating rob cross,M.smith,MVG, Luke littler and Luke Humphries and even some other lower levels players in the men's, every time they get to the quarter finals they would meet up with one of these players and get eliminated every time! keeping them in with other women gives them a chance of winning. this is reality.
