Wow, just saw this on DiveTalk's latest video, never seen them have nothing but overwhelming praise for a video and I couldn't agree more. Thanks for this! ❤️
My dad used to tell a little story about Rick's Spring. When he was young (he was born in 1907) Rick's Spring was a big stopping point for travelers. His family would always stop for a cool drink of the water that they considered to be very pure. The old car would need the radiator filled and his mother would pick water cress from the rivers edge for their picnic. Very amazing to learn that this cave was there for so long undiscovered..
Came here because of Dive Talk - what a fantastic cave Nope and Lamb have discovered - a double sump, big air pockets, and a waterfall, and some amazing twists and turns. What a beautiful natural feature!
You guys inspire me. I'm actually headed to Florida this month to begin my cavern training towards full cave. I spent last fall camped outside Rick's on my way back from some west coast diving. It lures me I must say and I'm looking forward to one day seeing Vestal Falls for myself.
Love the video. Such a beautiful find and glad we could come along with you. It’s so incredible / mind boggling how such big or intricate cave systems can be so far hidden away. Once again great video
I don’t know how they can just even think to go there, I wouldn’t do that I’m claustrophobic and underwater there is two thing’s that just for me can’t be together..!!
Wonder if the cave continues past that last waterfall, and if it's navigable? You'd cave to be a decent climber to get up that wall, or have a Batman grappling hook.
I've been there and thought it looked like a cave but wow didn't expect that and imagine being a pedestrian just checking this spot out and out of nowhere this creature begins emerging just to be this guy coming up. This is also way in the mountains a way from water sources by a few miles
When I was a kid we drove into Utah from Grand Canyon There was a cliffside in a farm that had a spring like this. The farmer said the pool is vast underground. Was this on private property ?
You may have hantavirus Some caves have rat and mouse droppings that when airborne create sickness. You really should go to a doctor. Have you had fever and aches ?

I never would've guessed that that little cave held that much more beauty. Thank you
Epic. Driven by Rick's Spring countless times and had no idea that you could penetrate the mountain by almost a mile. Very cool.

I went into a cave in Oregon years ago and I’ve never been able to breath right since. What is that?
