I also love Aboriginal culture. I have a collection of Aboriginal turbans myself. Recent research shows that Taiwanese aborigines are the ancestors of South Island aborigines, including the Maori. They even share some languages. Ancestors who came from the mainland hundreds of years ago, a large proportion of their descendants have Aboriginal blood. Aborigines are the source and treasure of Taiwan, really. Rémy Gils from France, because of his love for Aboriginal culture, he even published books introducing Aboriginal languages in French, by the way.
Lovely to see that you come back to Taiwan for the Harvest Festival. It looks a meaningful day to celebrate with the villagers and farmers, as well as heartwarming when they welcomed you too, Miss Lucy.

記得當年在台東當兵，旁邊部落豐年祭，連長，排長都被灌醉，大門衛兵也醉，換了好幾個，一個排沒幾個清醒的，笑死了。

所以很多人說台灣是中華文化保存得最好的地方, 人民善良, 有人情味 樂於分享(慷慨), 這是錯誤的觀念, 只對一半, 可以說是以偏蓋全, 台灣有保存許多中華文化沒錯, 但台灣人熱情, 友善, 樂於分享, 這部份其實是原住民文化的遺緒, 不是中華文化!
所以台灣文化裡有唐山移民的宗教, 宗族的風俗習慣, 也有早年外國傳教士, 荷蘭統治時期留下的基督教文化, 還有日治時期引進現代工業學術藝術文明, 帶進進退有禮, 體貼他人的社交思維, 更有原住民迎賓, 分享的文化!
