- How to setup a vermi compost bag / bin ??
Vermicompost is a good fertiliser for growing plants especially vegetables & fruits. The vermiwash is an instant grown enhancer . In this video you can see the step by step procedure to set up a worm bin . We can recycle our garden and kitchen wastes to fertile vermicompost using earth worms The red wriggler earth worms are used in this process.

Hi Madhavi, love watching your videos even though I can't understand everything. I just noticed that you have an English version as well. Anyways, in one of the videos I watched recently, I think you were saying that the Papaya tree was infested with some pests or that it isn't doing well. I have found that working some neem powder into the soil tends to build immunity in the plants. I had a Xmas cactus that was almost dead because of damage caused by pests and sun exposure. So, I was going to toss it but decided to mix some neem powder with water and saturated the soil with it. This was just an experiment and it had amazing results. Within a few weeks the leaves that were brown and lifeless became green and plump and the bonus was that there were flower buds forming at the tips. Before long, the buds bloomed (this plant had never bloomed ever since I had bought it a few years back), loved the flowers. Plant is thriving and there are no bugs on it anymore.
Since then, I ordered neem compost from Amazon (since the powder is expensive and I have a ton of plants) and I've been adding this to soil, both indoors and outdoors with great results. Soon after using this on some outdoor plants that were not blooming well there's been an explosion of blooms, not just that but the colors are very intense. Since you have a neem tree, maybe you could use some leaves from it to compost or dry and work it into the soil around the plants that aren't thriving.
One more thing is to have the soil PH tested since some plants do great in acidic soil while others prefer alkaline soil.

If you dig in soil for 2 or 3 inches u can see earth worms , fold bunch of news papers either soak in jaggery water or sprinkle little jaggery cover with few layers of newspaper, in a day or two earthworms will accumulate there . Any gardener will have earthworms or nursery .
