  • This is part 2 Of the Grizzly T25937 rotary table. This covers the replacement that Grizzly sent me after the first was damaged in shipping. The replacement also is damaged and this is not a glowing review. I also go over the differences in the 2 tables which gives a idea of the quality and consistency of the products being imported.

This makes me wonder if at some point an entire pallet of these things got damaged and you keep getting one from the same pallet. I bought a small garden fountain a couple of years ago and after taking the first and second one back due to damage we had to open four more boxes to find one that was undamaged. The conclusion that everyone came to was that the packaging was inadequate for a product shipped from China.

I don't think so. Grizzly would have made sure that the box was reasonably secure when it left their facility, and I have never seen a damaged package that I picked up from the Bellingham facility.

You’re 200 miles from Bellingham, wa? I thought you were further east. Heck, we’re basically neighbors since I’m 200 miles away from that location as well 🤗
Appreciate your honesty on your dealings with Grizzly.

About that far.I think Grizzly was a good option times past, but with their last huge price increase and a loss of their quality which is now at best hit or miss I think there are better options for much of what they offer.

I had a problem with a four jaw chuck from Grizz. One of the jaws had the threads machined off to the side a bit and it was very hard to tighten and loosen. Grizz wanted me to send the whole chuck back but I talked them into just sending me a new jaw. but they send FOUR. I replaced the one that was bad and it was fine. You might look to see if the jaw threads are bad on one or more of those jaws.
I consider that what you paid for it, it should be better than what you got. I live in moses Lake, WA. I went to Bellingham to pick up a lathe. I didn't like the attitudes of the attendants. They seemed to me to not care a bit about their customers.

Not a chuck problem but the rest of the table is poorer quality than I have had from them in the past. I have been to the Bellingham store on several occasions and the experience has always been positive, and the customer service for this table was good but the final results have not been good. I have been a fan of their products for years but with my last couple of experiences and their recent price increases I am very cautious and don't really recommend them any more

You do know Lexington, KY is like nearly 500 hundred miles east of Springfield, MO right? My first question to UPS would be "Why did you add an extra 1000 miles to it's trip?"

It was just a debacle from the beginning. I have become very dissatisfied with Grizzly as time has gone on which is unfortunate since I had previously been a fan.
