Its impossible to not love Agneta Fältskog. Fantastic voice and seems to be so nice and humble person. Looking forwards to many more ABBA-reactions and also their soloprojects
To me, this ABBA song and Agnatha's beautiful vocals, her expression and her delivery of the lyrics is the one that I have always loved the most of them all... It makes me wanna cry, it makes me wanna sing, it makes me wanna live, it almost makes me wanna die... She is just an amazing singer 🥰💔👌I love your analysis by the way - I think you're quite brilliant actually, and I love watching your reaction videos!! 🥰
Have always loved this stand out album track - so many of their tunes from back then deserved single release - That's Me, One Man One Woman and this hauntingly beautiful solo ballad sung with such emotional intelligence. Thanks for the review Luke
ABBA is one of my favorites of all-time. I could listen to them continuously. You absolutely have the best reactions to their songs!!! I am in the US but I visited the UK about a year ago, and seeing their show was at the top of my list of things to do. It certainly didn't disappoint!!
She’s got some range, no questions asked. The way she hits high notes while maintaining the crystal clear quality and amazing vocals; truly one of the best female singers. However I find it strange that many ABBA fans have little knowledge about the 2 ladies solo careers. Would love to see you react to one track “To Love” from her 1983 album “Wrap your arms around me”, just to give one example
Agnetha is the prettiest women in the history of the universe and then she starts to sing its all too much she is perfection my God just look at that face !!!! help never mind her model figure when the gifts of a human were being passed around she hit the jackpot. Nice reaction and great description my friend nice work
Thanks a lot Luke, for return to ABBA to react this special song "My love My life" (1976) in my opinion is the best ABBA ballad the lyrics are sad, farewell, heartbroken with a beautiful melody in an almost symphonic tone, and Agnetha's soprano voice is gorgeous, She rises to superlative levels very well accompanied in the choirs by Frida, but She takes all the leadership and finishes with a powerful record Her ex husband, the guitarist songwriter Björn, said that in these song could see the power ranger of Agnetha's soprano voice in my opinion it is one of the seven best vocal interpretations of Her in ABBA: S.O.S. I've been waiting for you My love My life Thank you for the music The winner takes it all Slepping through my fingers Don't shut me down (I said that all these are the 'Seven Wonders of Agnetha' hahaha) the video is very special I think it's the only one in which a single ABBA member stars from begin to finish: Agnetha so She can be seen in the close-ups of Her gestures and emotions, and her body's movement She looks absolutely beautiful in this context She shines as a fantastic storyteller "My love my life" is the third track in the fourth ABBA album "Arrival" (that have the worldwide hits "Dancing queen", "Money money money" & "Knowing me knowing you"), it's an underrated song and a hidden gem, in my personal taste "My love my life" is 9pts, at the same level of "Knowing me knowing you", only behind "Dancing Queen" (10pts) Again thanks a lot for these special reaction I wish a great week My best regards from Buenos Aires Argentina 🇦🇷 South America
Gives me goosebumps too. Not many artists can do that; Linda Ronstadt would be another. That closing note there at the very end makes my hairs stand straight up. Just love, love, 💕 love Agnetha. She's my angel. Love you vids (especially the Abba ones) and love the way you love Abba Luke.
Fyodor Dostoevsky said beauty will save the world. Maybe it will one day, but, in the meantime, it cleanses the hearts and souls of those who are enjoying this heavenly performance with you, me, for one. Thanks and God Bless!
Hello Luke my name is Edilberto I'm from Brazil and I always watch your ABBA videos I'm a big fan of them especially AGNETHA, I would like to suggest you to react also with songs in spanish....great performance by AGNETHA and FRIDA. Thank you and success.
So glad you reacted to this its stunning, in my top ten of fav ABBA tracks..Agnetha's vocals on this are just beautiful..and have to say your reaction at 2.41 is everything, wonderful to see you enjoying this gorgeous song
This is a very giving song, not selfish at all, she prefers to get away from her great love just to let him be happy despite her profound sadness, extreeeemely moving.
Thank you for your review ❤ I'm afraid my mother is about to die, being in hospital for weeks now and not getting better. Watching your videos is so comforting, I really like listening to you as I told you a hundred times. Have a nice evening 🤗
Thank you for your reaction of this song. I had totally forgotten it. But the song is very very beautiful, and I am going to put it on my playlist. Thank you again.🙂
Love this beautiful song. Another one which showcases Agnetha’s wonderful voice is Disillusion which she actually wrote. Please give it a go. Thanks again for another thorough Abba review.
Agnetha's voice is pure magic, Her voice is very angelic. I love her ballads and love songs. None is better than her vocals. Agnetha by far is the best female Swedish singer of all time.
If you haven't reacted to "I've been waiting for you ", it's the most underrated ABBA song and they have to me the most extensive catalog of quality songs.
It is amazing that one of pop's greatest voices belongs to one of the most stunning women ever. It hardly seems fair to the rest of the female artists in pop.
Great reaction, Luke! This definitely is one of Agnetha's finest vocals, although for me she shines best on 'I've Been Waiting For You' - it's a much better song too. Be great to see you react to that one! :)
That's the marvelous legacy they had left for us , that's why we older fans couldn't forget them. btw i have a slight suspicion that you might like the girl HBK Luke, don't you?lol....
Every ABBA-song has a great sadness at the bottom of it, even the catchy ones. That´s the secret ingredience of the ABBA-music., according to what Benny Andersson once expressed in an interview. It´s similar to the famous and much appreciated Brazilian "saudage", the melancholy that you can hear in most Brazilian music. And most folktunes from all over the world, I´d say. ABBA is built on the harmonies from Swedish folk music. It gets very evident in the intro to the Wembly concert, "Gammal Fäbodpsalm", "Old pastoral hymn". Search for that or for "Voulez-vous, wembley, intro".
Lol sorry but no Agnetha dose not sound like ONJ😊Agnetha is way better...not taking into account that ONJ was lovely too...her voice was beautiful but not in the same catorgorey as AGNETHA!😊
Oh yes she's a better singer(perhaps not way better because you underrate ONJ but yes better) but I still hear a lot of vocal similiarities to ONJ imo and I stand by that.@@shereekendall1003
They wrote this song specifically for her, kinda a showcase for her. My favorite clip of her performing this is from their Polish TV special. She beams in that clip like an angel. Another song like this from her solo work is "The Angels Cry" ---> th-cam.com/video/yrOKdZOgcLo/w-d-xo.html . She's just on another level with this type of song.
No one seem to comment on the obvious-as to why Frida seems not to be on it AT ALL and WHY? is this because, contrary to what critics and others have been thinking for 100 years, Agnetha is not on 'Why Did It Have To Be Me' as it appears she's not. This must be the only album to ever do this approach that I know of. Intriguing as hell of course. On a freaky note, something akin to this, but not this was done in 1982, where 2 specific songs had neither singing the words together, but apart from each other. And Frida never sings the title of one of them, but does the other one, and Agnetha the other way round. Cool stuff.
I may be wrong but I think there may be 2 versions of this song - one with Agnetha singing solo and one with ABBA. I also think this is the solo version as I do not hear Frida but Agnetha duetting with herself. The song on Agnetha's album on Spotify is unavailable while the ABBA version is. If there are 2 versions both are fantastic.
This is the track on the album I skip past the most. It's a nice song sung beautifully but it lacks something. What it doesn't lack is production as it's (over)produced up to its neck. It should have been recorded with a bit more pace and with Frida turned up in the mix during the chorus - to give it more vocal depth, imo.
The most beautiful female artist of all time! What a song!
Agnetas ability to "cry a song" displayed here, as their engineer once said. Brilliant analysis Luke. Thanks!
Its impossible to not love Agneta Fältskog. Fantastic voice and seems to be so nice and humble person. Looking forwards to many more ABBA-reactions and also their soloprojects
AGNETHA IS VERY SENSITIVE FEELS EVERY WORD OF THE SONG TOUCHES EVERY SENSITIVE SOUL LIKE HERS!!!
Has always been one of my favorite ABBA songs. Agnetha's beautiful voice and those heartfelt lyrics. Simply beautiful!!
This and I've Been Waiting For You are just pure heavenly vocals from Agnetha, both songs in my favourite top 10 of ABBA.
Pure and utter beauty!
Soprano at its best and beyond 🤗
Like an Angel singing!!!
To me, this ABBA song and Agnatha's beautiful vocals, her expression and her delivery of the lyrics is the one that I have always loved the most of them all... It makes me wanna cry, it makes me wanna sing, it makes me wanna live, it almost makes me wanna die... JUST LISTENING TO AGNETHA'S VOICE MOVES YOU,SEEING HER PERFORMING MOVES YOU EVEN MORE,ONE PICTURE 1000 WORDS!!!
An absolute favourite of mine since I first heard it when it came out -and it still gives me goosebumps! Agnetha's vocals are stunning. ❤
Sad that she has now lost her voice, where as Frida has still retained hers, despite being older.
Rubbish - she hasn't lost her voice! Listen to ABBA Voyage.

I love this song!!! With her fantastic sensitive voice!!!!!! ❤️❤️❤️
So beautiful, so sad. Anyone could cry.
Beautiful singer singing a beautiful song. Big ABBA fan here. 🎹 👍
No way! Someone in THIS century shining a light on the human synthesizer sweetest-voice-on -earth *I* grew up with. Thanks.

Indeed! The expression of Agneta is unbeatible! I just love it! ❤
Absolutely fantastic song ❤

Thank you Luke for doing ABBA ! After all this years they still are popular and timeless. Even for your generation. Thats great! Thank you!
This is a Masterpiece! There is a lot of balads to react on..through the years!
Yeah... Heavenly Agnetha👌

The most spellbound voice ever!
Words just can't describe this.

Beautiful song. ❤
Thanks a lot Luke, for return to ABBA to react this special song
"My love My life" (1976)
in my opinion is the best ABBA ballad
the lyrics are sad, farewell, heartbroken

My love My life
Thank you for the music
The winner takes it all
Slepping through my fingers
Don't shut me down
(I said that all these are the
'Seven Wonders of Agnetha' hahaha)
the video is very special
I think it's the only one in which a single ABBA member stars from begin to finish: Agnetha
so She can be seen in the close-ups of Her gestures and emotions, and her body's movement
She looks absolutely beautiful in this context
She shines as a fantastic storyteller
"My love my life" is the third track in the fourth ABBA album "Arrival"
(that have the worldwide hits "Dancing queen", "Money money money" & "Knowing me knowing you"),
it's an underrated song and a hidden gem,

Agneta personifies the Swedish melancholy.
You know, swedes are the masters of melancholy.

I've Been Waiting For You is an incredible song... still holds up today. Worth checking out ;-)
Am I crazy that she sounds a good deal like Olivia Newton John in this song? Absolutely georgeous in all ways.

Olivia copied Agnetha that’s for sure
I stand corrected. Agnetha's "My Love, My Life" is the ALBUM Title.

Prepare yourself to be completely mesmerised just like the whole world was in a 12yr span that will never be seen again
Please do a reaction to I can be that woman from their comeback album. Agnetha sings less powerful but her storytelling is out of this world.

Benny wrote some good songs, but Agnetha MADE ABBA. I said it.
Actually I think this song is about letting your now grown child go and live her/his own life.
