The switch station would have to be monitored for both loops to run at the same Time because in irl there are radios on each monorail and a radio station cabin at the TTC. That is how the loops are changeable
I may find a servo to automate the switching station. The ticket center at WDW doesn't actually switch. It's just a train station. The problem is there is no neutral to allow 2 trains to run unattended on their separate lines while having the switching station hooked up. It is what it is. We really enjoy setting it up and running it.
Just one thing: the point of the switching station is to be switching! You can run two trains, it just requires some user attention like the real thing to keeps ll the trains running.
Jamal West you can buy most on eBay and some at Walt Disney World. Hotels average around $400 each, the Switching station is $300, the Contemporary is cheaper around $50. The train station is $300 and the ho scale train is $200. The monorail trains are $100-$200 depending on color.
You said that you can't run the two monorails because they would fall off the track. Just turn the Micky to turn the track so the monorails can run dude.
Michelle Wolff yes, they are very delicate and would break if I say their turning it as each train went by. I would like to make the trains remote controlled and the switching station automated. It would be more fun.
I used to have the original Disney monorail set contemporary resort, bought it on the senior class trip for 100.00, now I want to get all the sets

The real thing doesnt switch tracks and both lines can run simultaneously in a loop. Just sayin
