To whoever is looking to install either ARKOS or Jelos on the RG353V: At this point, the stock Linux is the best on the RG353V in my opinion. every button functionality is present, it runs pretty much everything without major issues, Anbernic has OS updates on their page that you can flash easily, and comparing it to the ARKOS, i rarely experience crashes or frozen screens than happens often with ARKOS or Jelos installed. I have all 3 OS in different Samsung Evo cards. Also, the android side of things is pretty much useless, haha. N64 games used to run slightly better on the Android, not anymore. Overall, I prefer the stock experience way much more, great in depth video !!
Did you try to connect bt controller with the stock OS? Or do u know is it possible or not? I mean, with ARKOS you can use the bt gamepad and convert it in mini console with HDMI output

Your triggers look solid compared to the ones I have on mine. The unit I ended up with had horribly rattly triggers, kinda sounds like a maraca. Even just picking up my unit I can hear it rattle around so I haven't really been enjoying mine based on that one issue alone. The panel on mine is pretty desaturated compared to the RP3 or the Miyoo Mini and I haven't been overly impressed with it personally. It's good to see you got a unit with tight triggers and happy to hear you enjoy your panel on yours. Love the detailed review! Definitely need to see more vertical handhelds in the next couple of years!
That's really weird, haven't noticed any of these issues on mine. Indeed my triggers are very sturdy with no rattle at all. Strange these discrepancies, issues with quality control? Anyway, thanks for watching and we definitely need more vertical devices!
I'm having major problems with mine, idk if it's the battery or what, but it just stopped taking a charge and various other anomalies started to happen after I began running it on plug in only.. pretty damn annoyed
I haven't found the need to use the sticks or rear L buttons. I wanted this vertical for the power jump and better form factor and dula boot compared to the 351v
To be honest it's the same with me. I enjoy the retro games here and most of the systems I play do not require the thumbsticks. It's just nice to have them for some ports and cloud gaming.
I thought about bringing it to the channel but since I already have the first version I might pass on that one. It looks like it's very similar with just he added L3 and R3 functionality. Maybe if I can get it with a good discount...

I use the extra right stick for hotkeys in Retroarch, works great.
