Waltzes are in "dance form" but they are not always meant to be danced to. Look up "Minute Waltz" by Chopin for piano. There's a decent version by Valentina Lisitsa that should show you what I'm talking about.

What is the year of the recording? I wasn't aware that this was available. Recording is lively and so is playing, full of character.
