I think it will be like the B12. The ACC will lose a few of their best teams and will pick up other teams to replace them. USF in Florida is being talked about for one.
One of the major shows is saying that the B1G has their heart set on UNC and ND. What they need to happen is for FSU/CU, after taking all of the risk and spending millions, to find a way for UNC to get out and go to the B1G. Seems like a lot of work for nothing but what do I know?
Please ND will be independent for at least a decade until the NBC contract becomes a burden.
The last number I read ND will fall short $15 million per year behind the B10 schools. Keep in mind. B10 contract is up for renewal in 2030.
Hypothetical: Do you think the B10 will get more or less money with FSU and Clemson?
Number 2: It is pretty much a consensus that the conferences will be going to a 9 game conference schedule? If your an AD at the B10 or SEC school? Are you going to make your out conference schedule tougher by scheduling ND.
Number 3: People are beginning to realize ND is the emperor with no clothes. When is the last time they did anything? Their last National Championship was 1988.
If I know this? You know the B10 and SEC knows this.
As for UNC? To much turmoil in the state of North Carolina. My opinion: Most of UNC valuation is for the basketball program. People are making predictions that basketball will explode in popularity. I don't see it. UNC is overvalued.
@@brothermouzone1307 Don’t know about Clemson but FSU would bring more money. Any school that is top 10 in viewership is going to bring and make money and if that school happens to be in the 3rd largest state, even more. That is not pro-FSU, it’s just a simple fact.
As for UNC, they would cost a P2 tens of millions a year as they would generate revenue far below the payout. But people are saying that UNC is the top target of both P2’s for reasons that are unclear to my analytical and data-driven mind. Conferences brag incessantly and how much money their payout is, now they want to cut it?
