Is their grand son true owner of the plot ? Is transfer letter for ownership available in favor of grand son ?. It will be better to take help of any advocate who can scrutinize the case and provide you a Legal cum search report for ownership of the plot. The advocate can also verify the name of previous mutation, then can be move for further mutation in your favour. Thanks for comments.

1 Acre/1 Kila=4840 Sq. Yards or 43560 Sq. Feet or 8 kanal. 1 kanal =20 Marlas or 605 Sq. Feet. If 10 Marla of land is sold It means he sold 302.5 Sq Feet. Now remaing land can easily be calculated out of total land. Thus Ist of all , you should calculate the total land in Sq. Feet then the land sold can be deducted out of total land.
Kila No.,Khasra No.etc. is mentioned in the Registry.You can show your Mama the Registry & Mutation of land purchased. Otherwise, it will become your family dispute & you can settle the issue amicably.
Whenever there is clerical mistake in the sale deed/Registry, a Tatima is annexed with the registry. Tatima means rectification letter. Tatima todna means cancelation of thereof.
