Wow, this is so so amazing!! Carrying that मोड़ा around in your hand is so relatable in the monsoons - I guess that's the best part about living in the hills. As Ruskin Bond puts it, "It is always the same with mountains. Once you have lived with them for any length of time, you belong to them. There is no escape." Every time I watch the videos at the UnTravel Show, there's so much nostalgia that kicks in.

Landour has been an amazing place, not only due to its mesmerizing nature's bliss all around but also by wonderful celebrities inhabited in and around like Jamie Alter and others.He is simply awesome..His caring hospitality beset with his vast ovure of multiple skills like a writer, a you tube blogger etc. His narrative while reminiscing how recording of songs on cassettes was done as well as his description of other country side games in his childhood are too good and interesting....You have rightly said that a trip doesn't mean to incorporate 2-3 places essentially to make it worthwhile.. At times, you are short of time even for a place that makes you feel on a different world. Fascination for a place is developed mainly due to quality of time spent and hospitality rendered on a visit.... That keeps on motivating to revisit the again and again like you have for Landour..And it has been nicely endorsed by a visitor in your video also. Very nice Abhishek..

Even before COVID, I never fancied rushing through my vacations and covering as many places as possible. Some people just want to tick as many places as possible off their list in the shortest possible time so that they can tell others that they have been there. But for me, vacations are supposed to be relaxing. I have no regrets spending weeks in the same place just to absorb the beauty of a place and getting to know the life and experience of the people living there. Sometimes doing nothing is all you need to do.
I wish ur videos never end. They r so so engaging. All the childhood memories that Jammie shared, I am blessed to have lived most of them.
Your talking pace and grip on finer details is impeccable. You oodle a lot of calmness, slowness, living in each moment with wakefulness. Your Camera person is fantastic. God bless you and your team.

Year.... What are u doing...I feel more chocked in city after seeing your Landour video... The place is magical... Fall in love with it... Every morning while going office close my eyes and transport myself to the place... Don't know when can we be there by person.... Make more and more video of this place with all the love and calmness

Both Landor and Lancedown are peaceful, quite small hill stations. This video is one of the best travel vlogs.

Jimmy is a gem, I met him when he was at home during COVID lockdown, simple guy with no attitude.
I was missing myself for some reason. I wasn't feeling myself but then I knew I was being too hard on myself . To just feel myself back again I navigated to youtube and guess what if I am on TH-cam it's mainly for THE UNTRAVEL SHOW. I am so much thankful and grateful to you. Not going to comment on the content because it always outshines but just telling you that keep on creating because your videos do make a difference. Keep on going as yous serve as motivation for many like me to just stop and not feel guilty for taking a break. You tell me to be easy on myself and now I think I need to revise your content again in order to gain the fullest of myself. Keep going UNTRAVEL for you are pulchritudinous in each and every way and just perfect.

Mountains and Ruskin Bond's stories both evoke a strong nostalgia in me, thought i was the only one to feel this way ! Glad to know there are others too ! I believe we all have a mountain within us but it's hidden, only when we visit an actual mountain that image comes alive & our attention which was until then was fragmented in the clutter of city life gets focused due to the sheer size of the grandeur a mountain commands.
It's actually the beauty of our internal mountain which we then witness & get mesmerised.

अद्भुत, मुज़फ्फ़रनगर रहते हुए Landour नहीं जा सका, इसका हमेशा दुःख रहेगा खैर फिर कभी सही, पर एक बात तो तय हैं की ऐसी अकल्पनीय जग़ह हो और दो लोग ऐसे मिल बैठे जिनके ज्ञान पे कोई शक ना हो तो मोमोज़ के साथ ऐसा ही बेहतरीन वीडियो बनेगा, Jamie के साथ एक अच्छी बात हैं भाषा पे पकड़, धाराप्रवाह हिंदी बोलते कम ही लोग मिलते है बाक़ी अभिषेक जिस संजीदगी से शुरू से अंत तक जगह और विषय को बयां करते है वो क़ाबिले तारीफ़ हैं

Landour is love. Me and my friends have made a new habit of going to the graveyard every morning at 3 am,having a nice bonfire, getting a bit stoned along with that nice wood fire made chai wondering what if one of the guys resting in graves all around us suddenly wakes up and starts asking some random silly questions? 😂😂
And I swear this place has a phenomenal sunrise! Worth visiting...
