I have a 2017 mustang with ROUSH cat back exhaust no resonator. Going with stainless steel long tubes headers but keeping the cats cause I love the sound but wanting to just be a little louder but keep the smoothness it has now. Hope it sounds close to to this

I have a very similar setup as a daily. I have Stainless Power long tubes (went catted to cut back on smell and rasp) with a Corsa Double X Pipe and Roush axle backs. I do like the exhuast but the tone is a little harsh. I mind blowingly loud at WOT but it's super trumpty above 2k until you hit 4k, then your at Nascar level sound. It's deeper at idle than most dumb loud setups. Also the cold starts are an abomination of incredibly violent sound

Headers? Very difficult. I would take it to a shop, unless you have a lift. My friends and I installed my friend’s headers in his driveway with jacks stands, but it was extremely difficult and uncomfortable. We all left with sore necks, broken knuckles, cuts everywhere, etc. lol. And we ended up not doing a very good job, as he ended up having an exhaust leak. So he had to go get it redone at a shop. So, I would definitely recommend saving yourself from that and just going to a shop haha 👍🏽
@@majinbluu_956 nice rear end, i have almost same rear end plus a ebay rear valance and custom quad tips, ltd and wheel tire are the most expensive parts within all the mods, i use the arh long tube catted and roush axle back, added two magnaflow straight muffler on each side of the h pipe, up till now i think the muffler help get rid of those raspy and add more deep tone, which is much better, u can try to weld two magnaflow 10416 muffler on ur x pipe

@@majinbluu_956 some local shop here in McAllen texas, the issue I’m having is that it’s molding into that ac line box since it’s touching directly so I moved it 1/4 with some tie wraps but the ac lines are too tense I don’t want them to break so I figured asking other owners to see if it was a common issue and what the fix was do you know what your shop did to fix that issue you had

I honestly don’t know, only thing I remember is them telling me I had to add freon because most of it got drained out, I’m guessing they removed the a/c lines to get the headers in. Those Gen 3 Coyote’s are ridiculous, especially with the 10 speed. 💪🏽You got 10r80 or 6 speed? And about the shipping, I ordered these headers from AM 2 years ago, it took maybe 2 weeks at the most? @@braden2959 yeah I had Roush AB + x-pipe for some time before I pulled the trigger on long tubes. It definitely doubled the sound lol. At wide open throttle and on cold starts it screams!

That’s the thing man, I restrain myself from flooring it/revving too high cause it really is insanely loud. I’ve been pulled over many times lol. When driving normal it isn’t all that bad tbh. But when you want to get on it, you are for sure going to attract unwanted attention from the police. I love it though! 🙌🏽

I have a 2017 mustang GT with catless stainless works headers, steeds h-pipe, and a muffler delete and that thing is stupid loud. But one of my oxygen sensors is going out as I am typing. Had the catless headers on for about 6 months so. I have about 52k miles on the car.
@@majinbluu_956 check engine light came on. Either p2254 or p2240. It’s a code for bank 2 sensor 1 which is the o2 sensor on the header of the passenger side. Makes the car idle really rough because it is throwing off the air to fuel ratio. I emailed my tuner and they said 9 time out of 10 it is an o2 sensor that just needs to be replaced. I’m crossing my fingers it’s not the harness itself.

Not too sure on that bro. I had a 2014 v6 with Roush axle-backs and, if I remember correctly, it was a bit different design than the s550 axle-backs. Maybe you can get them welded on or something at a muffler shop?
