A scene that was in dire need of more expression. Darunia's moment with Young Link is absolutely awful... literally links facedown all scene and the camera doesn't MOVE!! WHATTT... Now I'm not saying I know everything, especially since this video isn't my best work... Daruina had no IK so animating him was a pain.
and yes the Gorons in the back are n64 rips hahahaahah literally had no other choice, hopefully, they don't ruin the experience they were terrible models

Ikkkkk! I got the feels when I saw that added in, thinking back on when I played for the first time as a little kid and then seeing this now as an adult.

Lol I love all the expressions you give Link it’s like he is actually a character instead of a blank slate.
he was already a character in the old version of ocarina of time . The dierrence is that in those time the graphic thechnologies could not recreate realistic expressions mouvements but only step by step expressions but the expressions were there thats for sure , This only makes him look more realisticly alive than the old version did but if you ask me he's to much alive and that makes you lose the impression that you are playing a game and makes you feel more like you are watching a Disney movie

As a little kid I didnt like the Zoras that much, but loved the Gorons and I still do. This was my favourite scene! Always when I meet the Gorons I am always sure to say ”Brothers” to them.

Darunia was hilarious to me when I was playing OOT since he was such a sporadic guy. You captured this scene perfectly, and adding gems like Link getting -planted- _slammed into the ground_ . With the low health beeping and all. :D

Hmm, Studies have shown watching MajorLink's videos causes Onions to magically appear account study #65, Most videos thus far have caused the phenomena to happen, common side effects are crying (due to the onions), feeling nostalgic and wanting to subscribe. Very nice details with the “watch out” before he was ground pounded and the heart warning sound. If you haven’t already, you should reach out to CryzenX who’s been remaking OoT with unreal engine for a long time now. With your cutscenes and his gameplay, you could make something powerful.

Ah young Link making friends with the Goron. One of the best moments in the game, where you can get both a good weapon and terrible one as well.

This is a great portrayal of the scene between Link and Darunia. I like how Link displays some childish side like walking out of the cave in triumph, smiling with his fingers, and running away from the Goron hug. Likewise, the portrayal of Darunia as a wise leader who gives Link praise and advice is appreciated. This feels more like a movie than an adaptation of the game.
I like how you keep some elements, such as Link being dug into the ground at low health because of Darunia patting him on the head. The Goron hug was sweet, and also displaying how painful it is to be hugged by an humanoid made of rock like a Goron. I look forward to watching Link get the Zora Sapphire.
Spent most of this laughing. the only suggestion i would of had would be at least one fairy usage after either being slammed into the ground (the warning beep was a really nice touch btw)
The animation on this was great! I loved how true to the game it was and the expressions on link's face were amazing! I also like how you signed it at the end so people know its you and not some other animator. I always look forward to your posts and this one was amazing!

This really hit my nostalgia. Darunia is my favorite character in Ocarina of Time, so I love his respect for Link after he saved the Gorons. Naming your son after your friend is a sign of true friendship.

I come back to this video all the time, and I've shared it on my more active social media pages multiple times.. I just love the way you animate Link--it's so canon--like the best independent animator for him yet! Not to mention Brock Hewitt's music with your animations are a perfect match. I prefer your cutscenes to the 3DS remake so much that I just pretend these are the canon versions haha and the way you expressed Link's personality through his movements even became a source of inspiration for my cosplaying lately..
