REAL TALK, WE FLY BUDGET TO SAVE MONEY! PERIOD! 😁
So, don't expect rainbows and butterflies and a free glass of champagne when you fly round trip for $75! In fact, that's why I LOVE flying Spirit Airlines and Frontier Airlines! Who else offers these cheap of rates or even cheaper when you apply an email promo code or take advantage of those sales dates!?!? Who needs "free water" or "free snacks" when I am getting to fly across country for this cheap!
However, a lot of you pay the budget price and expect a first class experience. Just like cars, if you rent a basic car but expect a sports car, it doesn't make sense. But, the basic car does the job just as well! Budget airlines get you to where you're going just as smoothly as other airlines - IF you follow their process correctly.
This is where it gets confusing and this is where your budget travel buddy comes in. 😉 I wanted to make this video to walk you through the process of using a budget airline like Spirit or Frontier, so you avoid common mistakes! In this video, I'll take you through the check in process, baggage tagging on your own, using Frontier & Spirit's kiosks, buying your ticket, using their promo codes, and much more budget airline travel tips!

Your take on the whys of flying these ULCCs is dead on. We fly these because we want money to use on the destination!
So we travel with less and avoid the frills like a tiny bag of over salted snack mix and half a soda, and grab them before boarding.
But, we also learn the limits and slide in under them.

FAA regulations mandate ashtrays in airplane lavatories. Although that won't save someone from a huge fine if they get caught lighting up in the lavatory.

I’m Active duty military never flew frontier, they give free check in bags, I’m wondering how do I go about that lol

I'm pretty sure for that you just go to the desk to see an agent and just have to show them your active status 👍 Easy breezy
