    Love the idea, hate the execution. I dont mind expensive, custom designs but $180,000??! Get bent; I can have a Ducati 1299 Panigale, BMW HP4, Kawasaki H2R, R1M, RSV4 and still have money left for a Porsche 911.

      Gotta agree with you. 2.0L V8 on a bike making that much power is awesome, but the price tag, and imo ugly design is more that enough reason to pass

      look at the cars they drive, ferrari, maserati,etc.....same thing, over priced toys

    Definitely NOT the world's most powerful production motorcycle. Boss Hoss is in production in Tennessee and they offer an 8.2 liter V-8 with 502 horsepower.

    • @NathanChisholm041
      @NathanChisholm041 7 ปีที่แล้ว +8

      Brian Murphy production bikes not one offs!

    • @dirtyfax
      @dirtyfax 7 ปีที่แล้ว +10

      MERCENARY FOR HIRE Boss Hoss is definitely "not a one-off. There are several models to choose from in either small or big block platforms. You can even choose a trike if you want. They have been in business since the late 90's building V-8 bikes.

    • @JV-io3nn
      @JV-io3nn 7 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      Brian Murphy Sadly, with the extra size and weight from those engines it isn't a viable option and not very fast when compared to something like this. Even your typical sport bike tends to be faster. Beef up the power from the engines and you run into all the low end torque they produce, which just shreds the tires, and that's not taking into account the handling aspects of such beasts.
      I remember reading about them well over a decade ago, when they had just come out. Awe inspiring, sure, but far from a riders bike. I just started riding, and I doubt I'd ride one if given it for free. Just too damn heavy, even if they are awesome. It would look good in my driveway, though.
      Edit: I think a good engine for them would be a high revving 302 (short stroke small block) with a decent sized cam. Torque would be reduced, but they are capable of very high rpm and power.

    • @dirtyfax
      @dirtyfax 7 ปีที่แล้ว +13

      Not very fast? It's 500hp on two wheels. Extra weight?? A 500ci V-8 is fast in a car!! The article stated "Most Powerful" which it simply is not. And it said nothing about best handling. Which it also is not.

    • @Shadow0fd3ath24

      Nathan C boss joss isn't a "one off"

      They have one that IS a one off with a twin turbo, cammed, and ported TWIN TURBO LS7 engine

    What's the point of having 334hp on a bike with no wind protection whatsoever? No rider will withstand speeds above 200kph.

    • @SpudsMcHaggis
      @SpudsMcHaggis 7 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      +Module79L It's not all about top speed you know. The big factors here are power to weight ratio, the amount of torque it produces and, how useable that torque is which I dare say will most likely have a pretty linear torque curve considering it is a V8.

    • @ApriliaRacer14
      @ApriliaRacer14 7 ปีที่แล้ว +11

    • @rsajay6256
      @rsajay6256 7 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Module79L - 1200cc Aprilia Dorsoduro 246kph on the GPS but at that speed in that bikes tucked in riding position the draft against my leaned over torso starts to generate positive AoA lift, so I need to clamp the tank between my legs to keep my chubby ass more or less on the seat. maybe someone with stronger hands etc could hold on a bit longer than me. but yeah 200 220 246, kinda academic since you can barely keep the bike straight LOL. I reckon it's like those 250hp 350nm Triumph Rocket 3 motors, or even a 1299 Panegale, mostly rather pointless since it's gonna see it's full potential maybe twice a year. but it is nice to sit at 80kph on an uphill next to a BMW M6 and when the M6 floors it, you just roll open with conviction and the $100 000 BMW gets small in the $10 000 Aprilia's mirrors. it's those little moments 😉

    • @doylee469
      @doylee469 7 ปีที่แล้ว +8

      mrsuperbuckets nobody on a cruiser wants to have to rev it like a speed racer to get the torque you get out of a vtwin without having to even try and look like mr racer... if you think harley couldnt build a 4 cylinder bike, then get some knowledge instead of hate

    • @doylee469
      @doylee469 7 ปีที่แล้ว +3

    • @A_Man_Of_Culture_
      @A_Man_Of_Culture_ 7 ปีที่แล้ว +14

      Joe D
      If you overlay a dunk of this bike and a Harley 107, this bikes makes more torque, and horsepower from idle till redline, you could literally run this bike at 2,500 rpm and be producing more hp and torque than a Harley 107 at peak.
      Stop thinking that all motorcycles that aren't cruisers require crazy revs, a Ducati diavel for instance destroys any cruiser other than a Vmax and rocket 3 while still happily pulling two people up hill loaded with cargo into wind with plenty of additional power and all that while at no more than 2/5th throttle.

I dont even own a harley but I do own a gsxr 600 and a yamaha raider. I know the difference in power between a four cylinder and a 2 cylinder.. stop comparing a v8 to any harley, its funny how much of a hater you are... always im sure bagging on other companies and being negative..... wish there was many less riders like you

    335hp on a naked bike! That's insane.

VERY sweet bike that comes on the pipe at about 7,000 R's, flawless handling, smooth as a sewing machine, lotsa cylinders is very nice in small bikes. Here in the Philippines, Honda also sold a 4 cylinder 250!! I would wipe someone's shoes with my face if they'd let me try that one out. I think the red line is 13,000.

      No it isn't. This bike weighs just 240 kg, just 10 kg more than a z800 and it belts out 334 hp. It was a power to weight ratio comparablevto a motogp bike so it's faster than a litre bike. Bikes like these are not for rational minds, only filthy rich people who are eccentric buy these

      @-Primer- 7 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      Nope, I have never owned a....
      1977 Suzuki GS750
      1980 Suzuki DS125
      1995 Suzuki RM125
      1990 Suzuki GSXR 400 ( GREY Market Import)
      2008 Yamaha FZ6
      2008 Suzuki GSXR 600
      And I definitely do not currently own a 2013 Yamaha FJR 1300.
      Because if I did;
      I might actually be able to tell that the tread pattern on a motorcycles tire should always start from the center and work its way to the outside because you want the water to push away from the center of the tire, not the other way around.
      I might also be able to tell by comparing the front tires pattern to the rear because I would know they should always match.
      Or maybe I would know because I've installed tires on every bike I've "never" owned.
      Now with all that said....The tires are installed correctly according to Michelin. Some folks seem to think they are trying to move water away from the sides of the tire toward the center while in a leaning condition. This seems odd but nevertheless the tires are stamped with the direction they should travel and :40 in the video you can clearly see the arrow on the tire just to the right of the caliper.
      I digress..

    Lots to like about this bike, it's a real beauty. Love the blue carbon fiber and the blued exhaust. ...But you know for a V8 it sure sounds a lot like an inline-4. Why not give it a more distinctive firing order/exhaust note? It's all raspy and high-pitched, which is what people expect from any mainstream sport bike. I'd like to hear what it sounds like with a firing order like a V8 from a muscle car. Oh I'm sure it makes maybe 8% more horsepower because of the way the firing order is now but with its 2.0L of displacement, you'll have gobs of power no matter what. It should sound as exotic and special as the rest of the bike.

    • @josephfoster3819
      @josephfoster3819 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Most likely has a flat plane crank shaft so the firing order is different from a regular American cross plane v8 . Thus instead of sounding like a chevelle it sounds like a Ferrari .

    1) Power. (you have)

    Interesting looking bike. Sounds good, looks a lot heavier than 242kg wet, that surprised me.....I could see it was filmed on Aussie roads, didn't think it would be built here as well.....180k, a bit expensive, but there can't be too many of them, and there's plenty of people with money to burn so problem for them if they want something unique.....The big radiator looks vulnerable.
