    It’s not a spinner rig!

Off course it is a Spinner rig. Some call it a Ronnie rig, or at least a version of it. What would you call it?

@@gilbertfoxcroft1377 Ronnie rig has an extra hinge ring. Your version is closer to the german rig. And of course the ronny rig was invented solely with a pop up. Nevertheless, thanks for the video.

@@resetkin79, our version is intended to sit closer to the deck and provides additional movement qualities. We just remove the ring, but replace it with the krimped ring, so effectively the same thing. The Korda boys created the Spinner Rig and advocated this particular use since 2018. Have you taken it up with Korda Official yet?

@@resetkin79 I forgot to mention that with the German rig the hooklink is tied directly to the hook with only the micro ring swivel and a hook bead on the hook. The rig in my video has a Spinner swivel attached, as well as a clear ring, seperating the hooklink and the hook. Exactly what the Korda guys call the “Spinner rig”👌🏻

@@gilbertfoxcroft1377 I guess I missed the point when Korda went away from their own classic: Spinner ring swiwel+boom+spare krimps+only pop-up. Too bad. But we've been through it all and gone back to the old school. Good luck, thanks for not being lazy to make videos!
