This is genuinely the most excited I've been supporting Arsenal for many, many years. Love that we have a manager who cares so much - to the point he comes under fire for being too passionate and reactive with each and every game. Knowing that drive is there is so good to know and I think he's fully earned more time to see just how far he can take this side. Putting aside all the inane, tedious and hyperbolic social media banter I'm just happy to support a club I love that I can see potential in and actually imagine going on to great things next season. As a football fan that is a luxury to be enjoyed.

@@soumasouma7980 Just an observation, the top competitors have respect for one another, Pep set a new standard for the prem and there is huge respect for those who challenge him (Klopp and Arteta) and Pep himself, fine margins are always a factor at the absolute pinncale of any profession and there can only ever be one winner, but its the spirit of the competition and respect that comes with the highest performers that drives the desire to succeed and creates a great spectacle for all viewers and fans to enjoy.

I grew up with a lot of Arsenal mates. One thing the clubs gotten wrong for so many years is not making obvious signings. There's always a position or two that arsenal needed to fill in the past, but they'd go double down on a different area. One thing Arteta has done is made the boring signings. Declan rice fell under the radar as a signing for most outsiders because it was too obvious of a signing. I think he's mostly seeing the rewards of good transfer business above tactical acumen.
