Here's a tip: If you're doing the first manicure, use a very cheap, bad polish. If its a good polish, it with stay as plobs and not spread, the bad nail polish with spread easily. At least the cheap ones have a use now :3
I like manicure number one because I think it is so cute and perfect for summertime and you can really use any colors!! And it is so easy to recreate and the best part is, is that if you mess up no one could tell
I love the third one. I tried it by doing a base coat of black and placing nail tape in the design you have. Then painting over it with opaque color(s). It turned out pretty good. I'm terrible with the striper on my right hand so it made it a little easier.
Hi Jen :) my favorite is the first one, I wanted to know if you could give me any tips with regards to painting my right hand nails? Since I'm right handed my left nails come out perfect but then moving on to the right hand side it's abit more difficult to do
I do my nails all the time and I usually use the same design every time but when I found you I wanted to just run to the nail store and get all kinds of colors...Thank you :)
Love your vids! I like how you suggest what tools to use if you don't own any. I might try #2 if I get the chance. It's hard to have a steady hand when you've got a 3 year old :)
This may be a dumb question, but how do you get so much polish on your large dotting tool? I put 2 or 3 drops of polish on a pc. of paper and dip my tool in, but it only goes up 1/3 of the way. Large polka dots are impossible for me to achieve! ( Like the orange dots on #2 ) Do you put the polish in a small container to keep it from spreading? If so, what kind of container?
I think these are great! a lot of beginners stuff doesn't really show people the basic skills they'll need to learn for more advanced work later. I also really like your personal touch and enjoy listening to you. I can't be the only one! And yet somehow your comment section is crazy negative! I don't think it's because of you.
Stuff u can use instead of tools: Small dotting tool: tip of pencil Medium dotting tool: tip of Bobby pin Large dotting tool: end of pencil Nail striper: old dry liquid eyeliner brush Hope this helped some begginers Btw my fave was 1
