I am one of those guys. Im from Wisconsin, my grandma had a dairy farm, and so did my aunt. I myself did work on a diary farm but not with cows but sheep. I was in a sheep dairy research facility in Wisconsin. I also did look forward to watching my Packers. I hope this movie captures a positive essence of Wisconsin and Midwest culture as a whole.
Have spent my 67 yrs in Wisconsin and we're all diehard Packer fan. I've been on the waiting list for season tickets for several decades, I'll leave the reservation in my will so maybe my kids can attend a game. Just under 10,000 to go yet! I loved the Culver's wrapper laying on the dash of his truck. Yes, that's just the way it'd be! Best place in the world to raise a family and proud of it. Can't wait to see the movie!
I was born and raised in Texas but moved to Green Bay in 1992 and you can’t live in Wisconsin and not be a Packers fan!! Farve was one of the best Reggie White and many others have given their all at Lambeau I don’t live there anymore but I will forever be a Packers fan
Even as an avid vikes fan, I can get behind this one. It looks like its gonna be a great film. Life is a heck of a lot bigger than football. Many of us tend to forget that at times.
Bears fan here....and I truly hate the Packers more than I love the Bears but this is a must watch. Craig T. Nelson is awesome. It did sting tho hearing the "And the Packers beat the Bears" comment. lol
Craig’s Packers knit hat. My dad had that hat. Wore it til there was nothing left. Had to be an early 70’s hat. I got one, pristine, online about 15 years ago. Got the face mask knit in it that you can pull down. Warmest hat I own. Still wear it every winter. So neat to see ya’ll picked THAT hat for a real Wisconsin badass farmer to wear in your picture. God bless ya’ll. Can’t wait to see it.
According to the Green Bay Press Gazette Actor Craig T. Nelson is going to sing the National Anthem for Packers-Bears game ahead of release of new ‘Green and Gold’ movie.
No way this is real! Charlie Berens is in it and it’s brought to you by Culver’s!? Did anyone happen to see a Kwik Trip in there? If it’s real I can’t wait to watch it!
Oh it's definitely real. It was filmed about three years ago now but just coming out now. I remember being ticked off my husband worked that day because we couldn't go to the filming of it in Downtown Sturgeon Bay (our hometown). It was originally called 'God loves the Green Bay Packers' I'm glad they changed it to 'Green and Gold'
looks to be a good flick based on the trailer, granted I hope the big screens in WI that screen this provide tissues at the doors on the way in, I think some people are gonna have something in their eye that causes it to water a bit.
@@andrewelliott1592 It will be released with the movie! Written by S. Carey & Courtney Hartman and performed by Natalie Nicoles and Corey Martin. Thank you!!
How do we get our local theaters to play this movie? Palace Theater in Antigo doesn't have it listed for Coming Soon. Neither does Rouman Cinema in Rhinelander.
The theater list has not been released yet!! Hang tight! I’m sure it will be near, if not in Rhinelander! 🎉 Follow their website for updates! The filmmakers are from Iron River, MI so you are in their home territory!
Why is the daughter in the movie plowing a field behind a team of horses in this movie trailer? Is it set in 1893 or 1993? The makers of this film really should've caught that one!! Nevertheless, as a farm girl with family roots in Wisconsin, I'll probably check this one out!
Not to be “that guy” but I feel like this some industry plant type movie…..like some hallmark “made for TV” type movie……not trying to hate on farmers tbh
Sure its not 100% real its a movie stupid. But it looks like it'll be fun to watch. Cant wait til it comes to my tv, cuz i dont go to theaters anymore.😂😂
Looks good but why do they not sound even a little like there from Sconnie!? Kinda ruins it right away for me... Big miss in my opinion. That dad, multi generation dairy farmer should sound like a real thick Wisconsin boy..
The Wisconsin accent is so refined and sophisticated, no current actors can even try to recreate it. The producers thought no accent is better than a less than pristine Wisconsin accent so they just ignored it and hoped we would too. So in a way, its out of respect for God’s accent
For those of us who grew up on Wisconsin dairy farms and watched the Packers play Every Sunday - this looks to be a must see!
That’s me! No better way to grow up and become a CPA.😊😊😊
I didn't grow up on a farm, and this still looks like a must see!
I am neither but my husband's family is a hardcore Packer's fan and your comment just hit me hard as why Packers fans love Packers so much.

Will definitely keep my eye out for this one, good to see Craig T. Nelson, America needs more farmers!

@JJJ-014 maybe if the film does good enough they can make one with the 86 Bears

This is so cool! Reminds me of my town in Idaho. And it was cool to see Charlie Berens in the movie!!
Fitting considering he lives in Milwaukee and is a wisconsin native.
@ yeah
I’m taking my family, my friends and my church! Since we don’t get Charlie in Bismarck and the movie looks good!!!
How does this channel only have 77 Subscribers??? Count me as the 78th and in line to watch this movie the day is comes out.
These.are boomer movies and not a lot of them left.
This is Yellowstone on a smaller scale, & just as relevant! I love it here in Wisconsin! ❤

Looks like a wholesome movie. Makes me want to bet someone a 20 dollar subway gift card that my Packers win the Superbowl. 😂

What's the song she's singing in the 2nd half of this video? It's absolutely beautiful
It’s an original song written for the movie!!!

Gonna make a real Wisconsinite cry.

Well, I s'pose I'll have to see this one.
I may live in Alaska but I bleed green and gold. Grew up with that on my door.
Go pack go baby
That was the entire movie in 2 minutes.
GO PACK GO!!!!!
I thought this was going to about the Springboks. 😂
Go pack, also double deluxe Culver’s burger and buffalo chicken tenders with cheese curds
Broncos fans: For the sake of the farmer’s family, I hope they didn’t take a “double or nothing" bet.
I’m 107 supporter
But The Packers didn't go all the way in 1993....😢
Is this a movie about football or a movie about farming
It's about following your dreams and loving life. AMEN 🤪
Emmet Walsh?
Yes! His last film before he passed away 🥺
@ 😭😭
go pack go
Way to go Charlie Berens! Go Pack and FLICK the Bears!
Not to be “that guy” but I feel like this some industry plant type movie…..like some hallmark “made for TV” type movie……not trying to hate on farmers tbh
Looks good, but they don't have Wisconsin accents... and Wisconsin people don't say ain't....
Go Pack
G💚 PACK G💛 from Germany! 😃👍🏽🇺🇸🏈🧀
Good thing his farm wasn't in Cleveland
Okay folks - but I'm missing the accents!! Where are my Wisco accents
Sure its not 100% real its a movie stupid. But it looks like it'll be fun to watch. Cant wait til it comes to my tv, cuz i dont go to theaters anymore.😂😂
Well what the hell? Talk about hitting all the sentimental chords

Please don't use the word "Sconnie". Ick.
Looks amazing. But for the TV.
From a Chicago Bears and Dallas Cowboys fan this looks interesting
So is this supposed to be a true story or just a few true events in a fictional movie??
Seems like a touching story but why does everyone except Charlie Berens sound southern??
Is this real? Not a true story, but a real movie?
Yes!! In theaters nationwide on Jan 31! 🎉
@ if it plays at the drafthouse I’ll check it out. I love me some CT Nelson.
Yes. It was filmed three years ago though and just coming out now. Some of it was filmed in my town
