While other companies passed the 700 + barrier long time ago , MAN still remains confident with less and perhaps sometimes "the slower you go , the faster you arrive" as we say in Greece !!!! That was a beautiful truck !!!!!
George Isaak It’s all about torque with these trucks, it may be ‘only’ 640hp but it puts out 3500nm, same as the Scania 730 (also 3500nm) and only 50nm behind the Volvo 750 (3550nm). The MAN is also significantly cheaper than both of those.
@@jellan31 We have an expression in Greece that goes like this : "the cheap meat ends to be eaten by dogs" , in other words when is about working with an instrument or a vehicle or even shoes you need to pick the best not the cheapest .

Я сам работаю на Мане,только на автобусе Лайнс Коач 2010 год,машинка-песня просто. Есть свои примочки,но на что-то из китайцев уже ооооооочень тяжело садиться.
Работал много времени на MAN очень доволен, но по комфорту конечно DAF XF к сожалению это правда.

К сожалению МАН так и не смог решить основные неисправности по электронике,и компьютер постоянно выдаёт ошибки систем!!!очень много проблем!!!В тоже время ,мерс,даф,Скания,Вольво,эти проблемы решили!!!

over engineered not the most perfect truck on the market always have problems with dash warnings and parts are very expensive
In my experience they all get niggling problems and these days expensive cost are the norm .
Still looks the same as it looked before. Big minus for the designer team. Every truck manufacturing company makes new designs, but MAN is not. Look at Scania nextgen, Volvo new FH, Renault new trucks, Mercedes. Everyone has their new designs, but MAN sticks to it since first TGX (even TGX is very simmilar to TGA, many many same parts there). So nope, I don't like it at all. MAN needs new refreshing design (NOT REDESIGN!!). And yeah, I have driven 2018 one, way worse than for instance Scania or Volvo. Only thing that is good is it's space and comfort.
6 cylinders 640 horsepower, LOL. This is gonna be worse than current 460 horsepower engine (had few of them in my company, engine problems on every single of them).
Quiet. If MAN makes a whole new truck then the old Nostalgia is gone. So this is the best design I've ever seen so far good enough.
@@IBims1Mark thats a bullshit fact man. You know why they doing it; to keep the manufacturing cost low they are just greedy for the money. Look at the turn signal lights on the sides on TGA and on TGX. All I have to say. And please lets not talk about the quality, that's a big joke. After an hour of using their multimedia (playing music on USB), USB port just broke and that was fixed only with soft resetting multimedia, joke. After two days commands for rolling windows broke. And please dont let me start on their "perfect" engine. 400000km with regular service and everything, gearbox broke. Just when warranty expired. Another 6000€ to fix it.
Also I don't have anything bad against VW group just to inform you. I even have a VW car and I'm satisfied with it, just saying.

本当にドライバーの事を考えて如何に快適に仕事が出来るのかを突き詰めるトラック造りを。
特にイスズに言いたい。いい加減にしろ！と。
イスズが売れてるのは安いから。それだけよ。
収納も快適装備もどんどん削って何が五つ星なのか？
確かに燃費は良いかも知れないが糞が付くほどのスムーサー？エンジンアクセル制御。
MAN然りVOLVO然り、トラックドライバーが憧れる様な車を造ってくれ。
未だにノーマル仕様だと運転席シートが固定式とは？高速道路でのうねりでキャビンのエアサスが底付きする様な車の何処が五つ星なんだ？脳天に響く様な衝撃を何故長距離ドライバーが受け続けながら仕事をしなけりゃならない？糞だ！糞！ペットボトルも碌に置けないコンソール。適当過ぎる各種スイッチの配列。
全てが糞！安けりゃ良いって根本的に間違っとる。とにかく現行ギガのキャビン造りは全くの糞だ！！！
イスズに言いたい！何が五つ星じゃ！！！。
俺は現行ギガに乗ってから身体が急激に悪い意味で変調を来たしてきた。
狭い！収納が無い！「みまもり」が適当過ぎる！補助ブレーキはエンジンリターダだけの仕様は辞めて来れ！
足柄で休息取って東京方面登る時、大井松田迄エンジン水温が上がらなくて全く効かない。
名阪国道で高嶺で休息取って天理に下る時、エンジン水温が上がらなくて全く効かない。
暖気してても下りで燃料カットが働くからラジエーターが冷えてエンジンリターダーが全く使い物にならない。13トン積んでエンジンブレーキだけで下れる訳が無い。それを「みまもり」が補助ブレーキの使い方が悪いだのエンジンブレーキをちゃんと使えだの、頭おかしいだろ！！！。
糞糞糞！！！
敢えてここでコメントさせてもらいます。命張ってるトラックドライバーの事を真面目に考えろ！！！。
そういや、この前の神戸で起きた下り坂でブレーキランプ付いてた前期型のギガがクラクション鳴らしながら逝きましたね。合掌。
