Omuntu wa bantu, was a family show!! I remember wen every one was rushing home to catch the show!! I will never forget kasirye gwanga's episodes, she was good, asked the right questions and respected her guests.I miss her,I saw an oprah in her.

We had a kid who came to our boarding school just to become respectful to his parents. He was in our boarding school for 3 months. He was so defiant at first but at the end he was so good behaved and he even joined the alter boys. We saw him transform into a very nice young man.
Thanks Farouk for bringing Role models who were once in Uganda media houses, my dream is still on and valid, hope someday nange omuziira gunkubako in Europe and I experience that life, it is from this channel that I made a decision to leave Uganda for Middle east.
I love you and missing you ma'am Bridget I remember meeting you when I was still young ewa mr John Nabutti mukono you're such a Darling missing you nyo
She’s very right. Sometimes parents take kids to Uganda and take them to live a high life. International schools will still treat them the same. When they’re at home the people treat them with gloves mbu abaana beebulaaya mubaleke temubagambako!!! So they spoil the kids so much and the kids come back to the parents even worse off. Sometimes the kids rebel against the parents because they look at it as abandonment. You end up missing milestones the child goes through. Raise your kids yourself and take them to Ug with you to visit and show them the culture both in diaspora and back home.
Kudos miss Bridget 👏 Webale omulimu omulungi okukuumila abaana mu nnono yaffe.. Yes you're very right about this issue of today's kids not knowing their language. It's not only here but even back home so many children balowooza nti okwoogela olulumi lwaabwe kya wansi nnyo!! Tukoppa nnyo abazuungu and it's really sad!
Thanks for the show guys..i guess i should have my kids from back home. Era am coming back home to look for a beautiful educated cultured lady so that we can have kids together. I will rather raise them back home back home then bring them later. Alaska is the cold state but US is US regardless of the state u r in so long as u all get dollars. Am also comfortable in Tennessee.. Watching from TN 🇺🇸.

Children in Uganda these days don’t speak their parents’ languages. They’re not even taken to villages. You find kids who’ve never seen their grandparents where it’s only a few miles away. We used to go to kyaalo for holidays and I speak my Mum’s language even though broken. These days even bakozi are told to speak to children in English. I have relatives in Ug whose kids don’t speak Luganda nga both parents are baganda. We copy too much and copy the worst habits from bazungu Oba lwaaki?
