- I stayed in the most beautiful Hotel in Malta, Kempinski Hotel located in Gozo, the sister island of Malta. If you plan to visit Malta, and wondering where to stay in Malta and you want a peaceful relaxing holiday than definitely Kempinski is the Hotel for you. The prices are quite decent for a 5* Resort Hotel. There are 3 swimming pools, the main one which is lovely and most importantly very quite, there is no kids noise. This is like similar hotels at Malta not Kempinski. I so many like this, nothing special. I know for better in Valleta. Very beautiful swimming pool and garden, looking for it at enter in Valleta, 5 stars

Fantastic review! I’ve seen this hotel on all the booking sites and wondered. It’s right up my alley. I’m most impressed by the peace and quiet beside the pool. That’s the stuff dreams are made of!

The land belonged to a Gozitan family from San Lawrenz and was used for agricultural purposes. In the early 90s a Maltese family with political ties tore papers from the courts' archive and falsified papers in a bid to steal the land, in which they succeeded. They even talked to the parish priest to tell them when the eldest member of that family would pass away so that there would be no witnesses left to defend the property. Eventually they managed to buy out the farmers and took it over. The Gozitan family was encouraged to take them to court but the new owners had ties with the mafia. Eventually karma reached out and one of the new owners was murdered in Valletta. Not to mention the countless lawsuits of workers and builders who were never paid. Kempinski was put on the market because it was failing but it was given to a selected few realtors to keep the deal under wraps.

@@AlexMit-yj7rp Coincidentally the old man who knew the story of this land drowned in a puddle in a construction site not far from his home. I came to know what the old man knew, which was the family tree where one daughter was given that land and she married in Gozo, while the other daughter was given a large sum of money and went to live in Malta. The notarial contracts make reference to a deed, which doesn't exist anymore, so most likely it was torn by the people who claimed to have bought or inherited that land.
Alex. The first Children’s pool you showed us is actually the Residents pool ( and their children). This is just about the only place I stay in while on Gozo especially for my Birthdays. 🎉

Terrific video to show what this hotel had to offer--that breakfast looked yummy and filling, and the view of the pools at night from your room was amazing! Alex another well done video but we got some criticism for the first time ever. You didn't tell us how far it was from the port in gozo to the hotel. You didn't also mention what's there to do around the hotel. Anything nearby things like that would have been cool. I know it was a hotel review but when people go to hotels they like to know what's in the surrounding areas. Like a beach? Well thank you for a well done video we always appreciate your hard work. Hey Philip and Debbie, thanks for the comment, which im so happy about, it will help me to improve for the next videos. To answer the questions, 10min ride to Kempinski from the port, it could be 20 depending on traffic. There is nothing on a short walking distance as Kempinski is in the middle of fields. There is no near by beach, everything is like 10, 15, 20 min drive from Kempinski

Lovely. I had lunch here in June 2003 with a friend. Didn't stay here. Maybe some day. Have you been to the Ta Cenc - I have toured around the property but never stayed there. I find it quite interesting.

It's a lovely hotel and very expensive but it is a 5 star 🌟 shame the meals weren't included in the price 😢

Hey Alex this gave me Idea can you do a the only hotel in Comino while since the people know this the only hotel but they don’t like what are the rooms how are the views food housekeeping anything and so there are villas to on the other said of the hotel but no did hows does it look inside of hotels and villas on TH-cam Instagram,Facebook or anything and so im asking you to visit this only Hotel of Comino anyway your hotel review is great 10/10

You should test all good hotels on malta.
I think San Pawl has 4-5 good hotels, St Juliens Intercontinental should be the best for the price 😂 and test the one crazy looking one newr mgarr (its between mgarr and armier beach)

Until you go into a dated room with poor insulation, hearing dragging of chairs from all the rooms around, the floor is with tiles. Massive lobby area with conference halls, giving you feeling that you are in a shopping mall and not a hotel

did you know theres a high pitch sound in the background of your video ? ... prob most people don t or can t hear it, as my senses are all extra and thats very common occurance with me, and i was wondering what was going on there, or near by, or if you had any other device turned on simultaneously ?

Alex , Kempinski Hotel is really one of the best on the island , but number 1 is considered to be Ta 'Cenc Hotel § Spa . You can go there and make a new video . I am sure it will be very interesting for all your followers
I go to both and IMO there is no comparison or I would ask Alex to review Ta Cenc. It's very run down, the gym is not well kept or updated and the place is not the cleanest. The only thing I like about it is the heated indoor outdoor pool to use during the winter months. Of course this is my opinion, others might think totally different.
I wanted to stay in Ta Cenc which is even cheaper than Kempinski, and i heard a lot of positive reviews about it. I usually rent farmhouses when i go to Gozo as i love doing BBQ with friends :) will definitely try Ta Cenc once
Kempinski is in a class of its own. Ta Cenc May have been at one time, but no more.

Nice first hotel review Alex. I am Dutch, living in Malta, visited this hotel during Covid when it was very quiet. Why do you rate this hotel 10 out of 10? It is, like you say yourself, a bit vintage, and it could have so much more beautiful with some easy adjustments. You have nice legs. You mother is a bit shy. Why didn't you give her more showtime? Where did you have dinner? Was it in the hotel? I guess not, I guess you had dinner with your lovely mother elsewhere in a place where they have a really good kitchen. If you pretend to review this hotel, you should have have reviewed the hotel dinner. Anyway, many questions, a few answers.
If I were a member of the Malta Tourism Board (doesn't exist) (and I am not a member) I would give you a very big award for your contribution to making this Malta economy a better one.

Thank you for this lovely comment. I gave 10 for the service, calmness and peace by the pool which is rear. The pool bar food and breakfast are of a very good quality, the eggs benedict i had were amazing. Mama doesnt want to be on camera :) even this snapshot i did of her was a lot 🤣 i will be honest, we treated ourselves with cheat meal, McDonalds for dinner :) i didnt bring any clothes to go out for dinner hence we had to stay in, and the inroom dining menu was not up to our satisfactiom. Side note, my mama and i, love the Terrazo restaurant in Xlendi ❤️ btw, that “board” preffer to pay “influencers” from abroad to come to Malta and do content, and most of them are contacting me to give them info about Malta :) sadly, non of the Tourism authorities care about me and the content i do ✌🏻
