Heyy guys , I'm a new Subscriber here . May i know , what is Sayang means in Filipino language ? For Bahasa Melayu its means Sweetheart/Darling . How about Filipino Language ?
Thank you for subscribing! ❤️🤗 Wow, that’s beautiful! In our language, it means “ wasteful”. Example : Sayanga sa pagkaon English : What a waste of food. Or sayang could also be used as something like a bummer. Example : Gusto unta mi magpadagat pero sayang niulan. English : We wanted to go to the beach but it started raining. What a shame.
The language i used as an example is called Bisaya ( Cebuano ) which is my local dialect. Filipino is Tagalog but the word sayang has the same meaning for both languages.
Thank you Malaysia! 🙌🏻🇲🇾
