- Two old V8 British cars on a 2,000 mile road trip through France, what could possibly go wrong?
Well, as it turns out...nothing! This epic road trip turned out better than we could have ever expected. Following the reliable Volvo failing on us last minute, we had to find a back up car to join the Marcos Mantara on the trip, and what better choice than the Bentley Arnage.
Enjoying the wild Marcos Mantara and the velvety smooth Bentley across France truly gave the benefit of two road trips in one. It’s inspired me to do more with my cars and to encourage classic car owners (not that many owners need much encouragement) to get yours out on the open road and do the trips you keep wanting to do. I think now really is the time for us all to enjoy our cars as much as possible.
Check back through the channel to find full in-depth videos on both of these cars and don’t forget to like and subscribe to the channel to see more of our road trips, classic car reviews, and even some upcoming project updates.

I lust after the Arnage, my perfect dream car in every way.
Bently aged well still looks great. such class
Very much enjoyed this video and look forward to the next - great to see these cars out and about and showing the French what classic cars are all about
Two great British cars, I agree it’s about using them and making the memories, not keeping them locked up! 👍 P.S. Loving the channel - please keep the videos coming….
Glad you enjoyed it. Thank you for watching.
The Graham Hull designed Arnage is a stunning machine, and for me the pick of them is the original V8 4.4 with its BMW engine.
thankyou
The futile absurdity of a “low emission zone”, as if that’s going to do anything significant for the environment.
I did this trip five times in an austin healey 3000. If you think the marcos is hot and hard work try a big healey!.
I love the Arnage, but hearing you cannot get the transmission selectors anymore even from Flying Spares, makes me think its better to go for a VW Bentley.
22 miles per gallon, hard to believe!!!!
Almost economical!
I’m in shock, my local dealer told me this is a 12 miles per gallon car, very different than 22 I must say!
@@瞿开一 between 12-15 UK mpg is normal, but on a long steady run 22 is possible. The worst i've recorded is 9 mpg.
