What people don’t realize is this is a global crime syndicates, they acquire information locally mostly tru the same bank company affiliates or even online shop store, then send their information to their contact who travels to other countries in order to cash out this checks or transfers. That is why it’s better exercise to having security codes for every transaction you make online verified
This is what they do. Chase told me about my fraud charges, "If anyone charges your card or if has acess to your card, its valid". I got the charges reversed, and took out all my money. Sure enough they said its valid and tried to take money back.
@@danka2000 The APR on those secured credit cards are worse than the actual scams. I was billed $1.75 out of nowhere for an amazon prime purchase, but the scammers can make it seem like a legit amazon charge. I can dispute the charge, and get a new card number, and stick with paypal for online purchases as they offer a 180 day window to report fraudulent activity.

Bank investigators and CC company investigators do very little.
Only use credit cards to make purchases online.

This is why you use a credit card, process way easier to get such fraudulent charges reversed.
