Sometimes I wonder why do game developers always remove good stuff from their games even though they would've made the game more enjoyable
In the case of retail Halo 2, a lot of the cuts were because of the hardware limitations of the original Xbox
They had no choice. As Joe said hardware limitations lead to it.
There was also the issue of deadlines and just not having enough time to work out some of their cooler ideas as they would have liked

It took me 2-3 days to complete halo2/3 on heroic
@xXBarthXx I'm not worried about time when its my day off. Give your ai friends a chance, try to keep them alive instead of just rushing through most of the areas.
