Great episode! The sound is great on this one! Even through the cheering and yelling, there was enough headroom in the mix that everything could be heard clearly! I have a hard time watching some of the other episodes because I am cranking up the volume to hear you guys, and then my ears get blown out and the sound distorts when things get exciting and you guys yell and cheer. I enjoy your content and hope the sound problems can be remedied! Great job again on the sound!

I've also build a Lightpaws deck and its realy fun to play. And i spiced it up with a cute combo with "Overwhelming Splendor" and "Eldrazi Conscription". A good lategame gameender. I was sad that the game in the video was to short so that Lightpaws couldnt realy go off.

Thanks so much for enjoying! Yeah that might just be an iteration of their decks but not the updated versions unfortunately. I know with all the new sets we are all constantly upgrading or switching things around on the deck lists!

Joe, bro, we gotta talk about your audio. Your cameras, lighting and angles are *chef's kiss* but it sounds like you're using the built in mic on your overhead camera. The soundspace is huge and your reverb is a little painful.
I just had a convo with someone in chat about this too but honestly asking what would be your solution? 😊
@@TabletopJocks It will depend a lot on your set-up and how mobile you want to stay. A sound deadening mat below the table and chairs might help. Lav mics are obviously the best for capturing individual voices, but they make mixing dramatically more work. You have good cameras, so I'm hoping they have balanced inputs. If so, you could use some overhead shotgun mics to get more directional audio that should reject more background noise. In this room in particular it looks like there's a LOT of hard surfaces that will add a lot to the reverb. Something as simple as heavy moving blankets off camera can cut down on that, but portable sound deadening panels on stands are relatively inexpensive if you DIY it and highly portable. The closer you can get the mic to the individual the less ambient noise you'll catch, and thus the less sound deadening you'd need. So it's all going to be balancing expense and workload. You can offset cost of microphones with cost of sound deadening. Workload will be a balance between location set-up and editing, fewer mics and more on set work would be less work in editing.

I don’t recall but I think it was power artifact/grim monolith combo for infinite mana. I know rings/basalt does the same thing.
