@@veraambuhl4760 I’m kinda wishing he didn’t. The book review said 20 years after Brooklyn that Eilis and Tony have 2 children and live in Long Island (name of the book). Then one day a man knocks on the door and says his wife is pregnant with Tony’s baby. Eilis leaves and returns to Ireland to reunite with her old boyfriend. And the book is about the love triangle. I was hoping for something different I guess.

Hi, what does Colm Toibin mean when he talks about the proquest? (1.21 minute: it's a really important moment at the proquest...)? I want to use this video with my students but I don't understand that!
Hello, I'm not sure but I think he's actually saying "the book where" but really fast and with his accent.
Or maybe he even just said "process"?
Listening back it's definitely "the book where it's" said fast and in an Irish accent that sounds sort of like "proquest"
