It honestly sucks that the "king of new jack swing" was largely absent during the entire era it lasted. Yes, don't be cruel was such a landmark that it remained on airwaves for years, but just imagine how much amazing music could have been created in that short window of time had he kept active with teddy Riley and babyface instead of just settling on 1 album's success.

I seen Teddy Riley , on the Breakfast Club that he ask him not to get married because it hurt his career as a male solo singer . Teddy , said Bobby , is and was a great entertainer well rounded . Bobby , was the break out star of NE all day baby face said that he toured for 3 years off of Don't be cruel album and him getting married and not putting in the work is why the next album didn't do well .
