    When Clemens Westahof took the Super Eagle's job, he didn't have a great resume but he became arguably, the best coach of the Super Eagles in the past 30 years.

    Your sincere and unbiased analysis of Nigerian football are always appreciated.Nigerian legends you mentioned including EGUAVOEN has one time or the other managed African teams. Our coaches wouldn't feel bad bcos the spirit of African brotherhood is there..SUCCESS.. The Super Eagles will go to the world cup with an African coach and win the cup.

    • @olusolaadeosun9936
      @olusolaadeosun9936 7 ชั่วโมงที่ผ่านมา +1

      What exactly has Amuneke done to NFF that they won't engage him as Suler Eagles Coach? This Eric Chelle does not have a better profile than Amunike or many other Nigerian Coaches either as a player and a coach. Neither does he have a better profile than Oliseh or Siasia or even Fidelis Ilechukwu or Daniel Ogunmodede et al.
      It worries me that we are not building our own coaches when we have opportunities to do so.
      I wish the Super Eagles well and I am compelled to give Eric Chelle a benefit of doubt because the NFF has chosen him although I think the choice is sub optimal.

      @@animalfunfacts247hey man! Amunike qualified Tanzania to their first nations cup in about 50 years in 2019, and he's as well transforming the relegated Heartland which got relegated from the league just last season. As a matter of fact, he only assisted Eguavoen for the qualifiers against Ghana, and we didn't loose on both legs. Although, Nigerians don't know it was the football federation administrators who disrupted their plans before the return leg in Abuja, asking them to field guys like Lookman, Bassey, Desser, who got their first cap that very day.

    • @animalfunfacts247
      @animalfunfacts247 13 ชั่วโมงที่ผ่านมา

      @henryalake1237 Him qualifying Tanzania for the AFCON 2019 was largely due to the quality of the opposition. Did you see them during the AFCON proper? They were awful, to say the least. I am not saying he's a bad coach, but IMO, he's not worth the hype.

    • @henryalake1237
      @henryalake1237 11 ชั่วโมงที่ผ่านมา

      @@animalfunfacts247 my question to you is, how many times have they qualified thereafter, as well as before? I saw him played with a largely home-based squad with their top striker earning a move to Belgium after the tournament. And he's also guiding an inexperience Heartland team to play good football, and also punch above their weight.

    Eric Chelle former Malian coach, is below in the World Cup qualification where Ghana, Comoros, and even Madagascar are all above him. He won 1, drew 1, lost 2. We need a coach who has to win all his games to turn Nigeria's chance around, and our sports administration is giving us a coach that was sacked by Malian's football federation. Wetin bi dis nahhh.... NFF has money given to them by the Presidential Support Group, aka PSG. So that part of money is not available, I disagree. From Rohr to Piseiro, to two indigenous coaches, and now to Eric Chelle. Where are we going with this crop of talent we have now?

    Quarterfinals Oma. DRC & South Africa were semifinalists. I hope he will be well compensated, what’s his salary? NFF officials definitely have a cut. I thought Federal government got involved and budgeted some money. The last 3 winners of the AFCON were local coaches who know their players very well. We should have tried joint coaching crew of 2 or 3 Nigerian managers. Don’t we have decent football think tanks as Managers ? He has recent AFCON experience though unlike the Nigerian guys.
