This is for people that always commenting negativelyon the face of a performer when they are singing. A lot of people don't realize that almost all singers make a range of diff faces when they sing. That is because they are used to seeing music videos where the singer most of the time is only lip synching to make sure they look good because they its a video lol. Some artist do this on stage live as well because they are dancing and want to look good as well. But when you are recording or singing live and are more worried about being emotionally and passionately invested in the song you will not care what faces you are making. It really irks me when people don't understand this. When it is so simple to learn and understand on your own without someone having to explain it to you. P.S Savannah is a very talented artist and I think that she is really pretty and has really sexy lips and eyes.

His voice is clear, very unusual.
The song is not the best for this kind of voices.

Max sounds a bit like Steven Tyler here, in a good way.
well if people didn't know it was voiced over before, they do now. @ 2:24 you hear her sing "yeah" and her mouth is closed. not trying to be a critic because they sound amazing but that bothered me
what a surprise, they didn't film it live while recording... NOBODY does both sound recording and filming at the same time, because you doo a lot of different takes of the same part, and great singing seldom goes togehter with the kind of "show" you expect in a music video. Doesn't mean she didn't sing it, just that this audio track didn't naturally belong to this video-track. That's just the way we work in business... ;)
hmmm... both great singers but together just doesn't seem right. they both got strong vocals. maybe its just my preference but i prefer it more when its a strong voice like Max's (or Savannah) with someone like Corey Gray. Corey has a great voice too but he's good at laying down a soft, smooth melody for someone like Max to emphasize and play with his range in parts with his strong, more commanding vocals (ie: Corey and Max's version of Forever). Still good vocals, just a little much
She's singing. You have to move your lips in order to sing. Also, she's a very reckognized artist (performed at the AMA's red carpet, was in Billboard Battle of the Bands, appeared at Billboard's award show, and had Ryan Secrest premiering her latest music video), I am sorry but in my eyes she's just as good as Max, her voice is just very powerful.
She's amazing, just go watch any of her other videos. And if you still don't like her after that, then just get away from her videos.

Hahah! I know I'm thinking dirty but the first comment has 69 likes... She recorded the vocals before filming the video. So, when they were filming, it was just mouthing of words. It's not autotuned, neither is it live.
id like to see you do the vocals she did before the yea and still have enough air to sing that yea she was clearly running out of breath and had to edit it in and there is no indication of this being a live performance so of course there was editing put in.... a lot of artists play back up vocals ever listen to the radio?
Nobody really cares what I think of course, but I feel like Savannah was great here, while Max lacked a little something. His voice is wonderful, but the tone just didn't seem quite right for the words to me. I felt like the opening should have had a touch of wistful sadness and regret, but he sang it with too much happiness.

Incredible cover, I think the people that don't understand music would say that it doesn't hold as much energy or power but it's the other way around, this cover would've had to have a lot more effort than the original. Plus it's a cover for a reason they are meant to be changing it around
Max sounded much better. The girl looked like she was doing some terrible lip singing or trying to get something out of her mouth. Even if it's her real voice it sounded like she was trying to hard. To me she sucked terribly. The only reason I'm giving a thumbs up is because of Max.
Why do you think you learn spelling in school? So you can misspell things whenever you aren't being forced to do it right? I was just correcting your misuse of the word "biosexual" which isn't actually a word at all. The "o" changes the ENTIRE meaning of the word. So yes, it is a "big woop."

savannah you have a powerful voice, so stop using falsetto and shout if you have to. stop singing like you do in 1:27, sing like you do in 1:33. it suits your voice better :)

it`s not a live version:) the audio was first made and after that they filmed the video and put it togheter:) that`s why he wasn`t singing "yeah" because the audio is not exactly with the video....
Just learn to sing, then rise up to savvannah's level and finnaly show us what you've got.
And maybe after that you can speak about "Savannah's mouth when she sings"
